| I have checked its hinney. It is clean. I just don't know what to think. I have supplied the heating pads and microwave toy. She did eat a little since I started this post. (I also have nutrical on hand.) I have raised pups before and know what to do with them. I just have never had one like this one. I guess it might also be worse because I had surgery a couple of weeks ago and have gotten a infection from it and just don't feel well. I am sure the puppy is ok I just am so run down at the moment and I don't like it when babies cry all the time. I just wish I could comfort her and make it all better.

| Poor you, I know you must be really worried. I am a breeder, and I never let my babies go before they are at least 12 to 16 or 18 weeks old, as they are just too young to be away from their mommies, even if they are eating on their own, she probably really missis her litter mates, and mommie. I never let anyone have a puppy at that young age unless they take two. If you can afford to get her one of her litter mates it would help soooooo much, she will feel very secure, and have a little buddy to snuggle and play with. I keep all my puppies on warm goats milk, they have it all the time, it is easy to digest, and is soothing on their tummies, they also will really lap it up with some pudding, or honey in it. It also helps them sleep through the night. This little baby's only cries for a several reasons, one- it's hungry, two- she could be constipated. three- she could be cold, four she is tired and to miserable to go to sleep. or she could be sick. Try the warm goats milk with pudding, also give her some teething toys that you put in the refridgerator, she could be teething and her mouth is sore. I'm thinking she is just plain homesick and misses all her little litter mates. Keep her as close to your skin around your neck and chest, put a blanket around her, and rock her and sing to her real softly, she could come around in a day or two. If not I would go back to the Vet, or maybe consider getting one of her litter mates so she has a snuggle bug to be with. Best of luck, please keep us posted as to how she is doing, she is just a little darling baby and all they do is eat, play, poop and pee and back to sleep. They need a lot of rest at that age, and to keep them busy I am always giving them honey toasted cheerios, warm Goats milk with Honey or pudding, helps keep their blood sugar level, and of course moistened dry food. with Cesar mixed in it. I'm with everyone else on Cesar, it is not the best for them but all my puppies love it. They also like scrambled eggs. You sound like you will be a wonderful mother, all that little one needs at that age also is alot of love. These babies go through a real fright stage from 10 to 16 weeks, and that is why I always sell my when they are older, and they always get sold with their favorite playmate. It seems everyone always ends up getting two , so I just start everyone off with two, it makes everyone's life so much easier, and it is such a joy to watch them play. I don't mean to go on and on, but you might also call the breeder and let her know what is happening, she should be able to help you a lot. Look forward to hearing how she will be doing in the future. |

| She is an only puppy and her mother died in birth. That is the reason I got her the lady that had her just couldn't do it anymore. She is a single mom that rescued the mother yorkie from a byb that didn't know squat! She (the puppy) has been eating solids for 2 wks. I just don't know what else to do with her. Kitty is laying with her to keep her warm too. Thanks for all the advise. I will definatly keep you all posted.

| Maci cried, and cried, and cried the first 3 or 4 days that we had her at our home. They just get so worked up because of the new environment, and they miss their past home. We basically just ignored it (after many sleepless nights) and she has turned out great! We did leave a little nightlight on for her next to her crate, and we did have a small radio going as well (playing talk radio). It seemed to calm her a bit, but never did completely stop the crying for those first few nights. She now doesn't require anything at night, and she'll sleep a good 8-9hrs before she'll cry letting us know she needs to go potty. Just hang in there, it will get better!

| P.S. I wanted to mention, I am sorry about your surgary hope you will be feeling better real soon, all that crying can make you feel very helpless, when you are also not feeling well. You take care and know you will be in my prayers for a speedy recovery. That little baby should make you feel much better, just get snuggeled up with her and smother her with kisses, and tell her how much you love her. |

| Kitty is my older yorkie. She had her first litter of pups in Febuary and had to have a c-section then got mastisits so I bottle fed 5 adorable babies. I am now kicking myself for not keeping one of them. Thanks so much for your kindness.

| My mom had a puppy once that cried a lot at night. She took a stuffed animal and a little clock and placed inside the stuffed animal for the puppy to sleep with. The ticking calmed him down.

| I know the first week I got Venus, someone asked me what I was going to name her, and I said "whiney". I know it took her a good week, even with Adonis (my older yorkie) here to be a friend to her. I know putting her crate beside my bed helped a lot at night. I was so afraid of Adonis being jealous....and trying to juggle "quality" time between the 2 of them. She did settle down, after a week of Neutra-cal on hand when she wasn't eating right, and a lot of love. I'd definitely keep checking her behind area, and keep that hair short. Its so easy for poop to get on it, and blocking them from pooping. I had that problem with both of mine, till I learned to keep the butt hair short. Venus seemed to be happiest close to my shoulder/neck area that first week. She loved to get on my shoulder and sleep. She also loved it when I'd talk to her, and cuddle. She got used to Adonis pretty quick, and loved going outside with him to potty/play. Seemed it took a good week for Venus to settle down and get used to my home. Once they settle, you have a bundle of love! |

| I got my puppy when he was 8 weeks old. I think when he wasn't sleeping, I was holding him or carrying him --- or at least playing with him. But, of course, he slept most of the time at that age. He ate well - no problems there. Also - he slept with me from the first night on. He'd just snuggle up - and he slept all night long from the beginning. I guarantee though - if I had ever left him alone for a few minutes, he would have cried. I'm sure that within the first few weeks I had him, he was beginning to venture around the house on his own - and decided he didn't want to be with me every second. ***** I think it's his sleeping with me that kept him so content. Good luck! Carol Jean |

| It won't take your little one very long to figure out how good she has it now that she doesn't have to compete with her litter mates for attention and food!!
