I know the first week I got Venus, someone asked me what I was going to name her, and I said "whiney". I know it took her a good week, even with Adonis (my older yorkie) here to be a friend to her.

I know putting her crate beside my bed helped a lot at night.

I was so afraid of Adonis being jealous....and trying to juggle "quality" time between the 2 of them.

She did settle down, after a week of Neutra-cal on hand when she wasn't eating right, and a lot of love.

I'd definitely keep checking her behind area, and keep that hair short. Its so easy for poop to get on it, and blocking them from pooping. I had that problem with both of mine, till I learned to keep the butt hair short.

Venus seemed to be happiest close to my shoulder/neck area that first week. She loved to get on my shoulder and sleep. She also loved it when I'd talk to her, and cuddle. She got used to Adonis pretty quick, and loved going outside with him to potty/play.

Seemed it took a good week for Venus to settle down and get used to my home. Once they settle, you have a bundle of love!
