Loving and very affectionate personalites are standard with each of the yorkies.
They are very affectionate and like to give kisses all the time.
They have the run of the kitchen at different times and are put down for naps just like babies. They do need to rest at various times of the day because they are still infant puppies,they are well socialized with kids and cats and will be your friend if you are the playful type,they just simply love lots of attention.they are uptodate on all shots and wormings and are all current on vaccination

This is my first post on this board, I wish it could have been a happier one. But I am glad I have found this board for future reference, because we are going to get a little Yorkie, we just have not found him/her yet.

I am so sorry this happended to you...but it was another life lesson. Now it sounds like you're on the right track.

When you've seen enough of these you learn to recognize the signs.

What's so very sad is that these guys are making money hand over fist...it's obviously very profitable or hundreds, if not thousands of them wouldn't be doing it.

They reach the average person by advertising in small town newspapers, etc....people wouldn't assume that someone advertising in their local paper would scam them, but that's how they work....and they try to cater to our emotions...trying to get us attached to a puppy that doesn't even exist.(I live in a smaller city in Northern Ontario Canada and they've even advertised here...on a local internet newspaper!)

I'm so sorry for anyone who was taken by these crooks, the saying "caveat emptor"... "buyer beware" means so much in situations like this!!

How wonderful it would be if the day would come that no person would fall for their ads and they would have to give up this scam. It's CRUCIAL that everyone gets out there and spreads the word about these crooks!

That is a pretty scarey scam.........and at first I wasnt even so sure it was a scam until one of the posters said they were scammed exactly this way, with an email very similair.
The wording was a bit suspicious and not all questions were answered so it made you wonder........but what made me doubt it was a scam was the fact that it is expensive to advertise in the paper. Scammers usually advertise in free advertising.
Whats so scarey about that scam, alot of people probably beleive its legit. I guess if you advertise in 3 papers for 75.00 each and get several takers on a ficticious dog for 1200.00, it was a very successful scam.
Probably one of the most porfitble yet. Because alot of people probably go for this one.

I will be in Africa at least a month so there is plenty of time for me to get all clearances for the puppies to leave Africa and come to the US.

Please email me back and I will give you all the necessary information so that we can meet and I can get the puppies. Not a word. I did not expect any reply. But I have saved my reply to my hard drive and will continue to use it whenever I come across another scammer.
Yesterday the Dr. Phil show was about scammers from Nigeria scamming women for money under the pretense of having a love relationship with them. At the end of the show Dr. Phil was saying how his show is going to focus on trying to stop these internet scams from Nigeria and asked viewers to write to him reagarding all types of scams from Nigeria. I wrote Dr. Phil my story. If I hear anything from the show, I will post it.

My dad was telling me about this site where these guys in America rip the scammers off. They say that they have this brand new laptop computer that they want like 300 for plus shipping and then the Nigerians send fake checks for $300 but then pay DHL 100 for shipping and they end up shipping them like a trashcan full of rocks. I'll see if I can find the site again.

LOL, this is great!!! And... not to mention... the pup weighs 9 ounces at 10 weeks, but is going to be 3-4 pounds full grown? Hmmmmm, most likely NOT. Maybe if the pup was 9oz at 2 weeks.
