| Suppose my pet peve is "people who don't understand how much and why we love our dogs (or cats) so much" When I lost my cat, a girl at work said to me "its just an animal". What she didn't understand, I'd had her for 17 years, longer that the girl had been raising her grandaughter! I love my yorkies more than I like some people. If they can't understand that....they can bit my a$$. Another pet peeve, like someone else said here, folks asking how much you spent buying your Yorkie. I told the last one "she's still not paid for yet". Hey, they didn't ask any more personal questions! I think I'll tell the next one, "less than what it cost to deliver your last child". |

| I didn't mean to offend anyone.... SORRY! Can we let it go already? This was a post on pet peeves not picking on me for what I said. If you don't agree with it you can ignore me not bash me. Thank you for the ones who understood what I was saying. |

| I have had two people say to me "Is that a RAT or a dog" Now these two people are very loving wonderful friends and they were JOKING! BUT... My back went up even though they were joking! I kind of laughed and told them they were so mean... I know not every one is a dog lover... but I have a hard time with these little comments. A RAT!!!!!!!! GGGGGRRRRRR....

| I have two suggestions. 1. When people reach out and try to grab your yorkie, warn them that it bites, whether this is true or not. In Debbie's case it is. 2. When someone asks you a personal question that you don't want to answer, turn the tables on them and ask them why they want to know? This puts them on the spot and might even embarass them. You are under no obligation to answer anyones' questions, especially a stranger's. |
