Wait I have a good one for you, We were at Balboa park in San Diego visiting some friends. and this VERY gay man walks up and says OMG I could just eat them up. And with out asking..... PET DAISY MAY! Big mistake in the REAL NICE GAY SHOES..... well I need to say no more, ....SHE PEED ON HIM! Even my husband called him a moron as he walked away. I work in the evenings, so he's already in bed when I get home most nights. Jake is all snuggled up with him, but when he hears me, he gets excited and wants to see me. So, I usually play with him for a little bit, take advantage of the quiet time we have together and teach him a trick, and we go to bed. My hubby will get up and say "hey, why'd you steal my dog?" But, like you, I'm glad they are buddies too. | |

I almost died!!! The poor kid was like, mom what's he doing to me? I grabbed him (all 2 pounds of him!!!)and said oh I dont know??? THE POOR KID! Good thing my friend has a sense of humor... We laughed really hard but I was mortified!!!!! </IMG>

| I cant stand people that ask you how much you paid for your Yorkie... {Not Yorkie Talkers of course} hehehehe.. beings were pretty much all in the same boat.. LOL To me that is nosey, but to make it worse you feel funny not to say and you give a rough figure... Like for instance I paid $1,200 for Peaches and I will say around $1,000. Their eyes get big and say thats CRAZY! Or Come on, I mean they are really cute , but that much for a DOG! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr I actually had my mother ask me and then I told her around about how much and that my hubby and daughters all pitched in... {Mind you, I have been wanting a Yorkie for Years!} She then said "Must be nice, I am struggling w/ bills" I was soooooooo Upset!

| Pet peeve? My husband telling Joey "come" or "drop it" and then not rewarding him for doing so.

| My pet peeve is kids. The way they come running up and screaming and shouting, three or four at a time, and then they don't ask if they can pet my Yorkie but just start grabbing at his head (which obviously scares him silly and he just backs away). Now I know I'm not very tolerant of badly behaved kids, I'm not a parent myself and have no intention of being one and yet I can kind of forgive kids because he's adorably cute and I want to pet him every time I see him too and they have to be taught to behave. But my REAL pet peeve is when the parents are there, and I'm trying to get the kids to calm down (ie: "let him sniff your hand first" or "sit on the ground and let him come to you") that they parents don't do anything to enforce the boundaries I'm laying out. Allowing there kids to get away with anything and then glaring at me if I have the cheek to be firm with their kids. I had one kid who kept trying to pick him up and squeeze my dog, which obviously I don't allow, and his mother actually "tisk" at me when after telling her kid three times he couldn't pick up my dog, and he still does, I used a firm voice and told him "No!" and took the dog off him. Now I just avoid walking him after 3pm until it gets dark to ensure I don't have to deal with that. |

| My pet peeve is whever other people criticize me and have even called me ridiculous for loving my pets dearly. They say....."It's just an animal!" Of course, I don't keep my mouth shut anymore. Recently, a lady kept asking why I don't have human children? I basically started to explain.............then I just said it's personal!! Anyhow, I cannot tolerate ANYONE who doesn't welcome my pet into their home. I understand completely but if my pet is not welcomed, neither am I.

Man I have not delt with this yet... It's the adults I have had problems with! Kids are pretty sweet and ask if they can pet my dog. I bend down to them with him and let them pet him. I'll look out for this as he gets older!
