| Help Please!! Ok, so as you may or may not know I don't have a Yorkie yet. Well a friend of mine is willing to sell me a female Yorkie that her Yorkies had for only $650, but she said they will be ready to go on Monday after their shots but they are only 7 weeks old?? How safe can that be?? I know that is pretty young but if I don't buy her someone else will, at the same age. And I REALLY want her, she's the cutest thing! I'm just scared that she is too young?? BTW: They are not professional breeders, their 2 Yorkies just had puppies. |

| Can you go ahead and pay her and ask her to keep her with the mother for a couple more weeks? It would be so much better off. |

| I think Gracielou & JeanieK are right...I would go ahead and pay her and get a contract or reciept and ask her to keep her with mom for a couple more weeks...but if she doesn't want to I would go ahead and get her....

I Love My Lil' Punkin's Donating Member | Holding your puppy... Awww She wouldn't let the pup stay there with it's momma for a few more weeks until its at least 9 or 10 weeks old? We got Stedman when he was 11 weeks....maybe if you ask her she will agree that it is in the best interest of the puppy. Tell her that you would be willing to put a deposit down to hold the puppy so that she will know that you are committed to buying her, and that way she can't sell it to anyone else that comes along. It's worth a shot! Good luck!!!

| I agree with the others, I would pay her and ask her to keep the puppy for at least a couple more weeks. Are the puppies weaned from their mom yet? They have to be completely weaned and able to eat on their own. I recently got mine at almost 9 weeks, and he has been fine -- but, he had been weaned and was eating completely on his own. If you decide to go ahead and bring one home, I would recommend that you keep Nutrical on hand just in case he/she doesn't want to eat at first. Mine didn't want to eat the first day, so I put a little cottage cheese on his food and he gobbled it right up. Congratulations!!!!! |

| I got Chachi at 6 weeks and he got sick with diahrea. I would see if she will keep the pup a while longer. If she wont i would go ahead and get it just keep in mind they are very fragile at that age

| I'm definately going to see if she will keep them a bit longer, hopefully til 10 weeks if not at least 8 weeks (which is only one extra week). I'm willing to pay her today if she decides she will do that for me. If not, I will take take them on Tuesday and just take extra care of them and pay extra attention. If I take them on Tuesday I will be posting A LOT on here because I may need help lol. |
