I think I'll eventually get a girl. I LOVE my boy, and I still put clothes on him, but he doesn't like it AT ALL lol

Oh youve gotta get a girl. My girl prances around in her clothes like she is something. She just won second place in a best dressed dog contest. She was so cute

awwwwwwwww that's great! I put clothes on Jake, and he has them off within a minute or so. He doesn't like them. But, he's so tiny right now, that nothing really fits him well so I just keep trying in the hopes he'll get used to it by the time he grows into his clothes lol

Just keep putting them on him he will get used to it. Chachi will wear clothes but when he was younger he didnt like them.

that's another thing i was wondering about, should i buy her clothes small so it fits her now? or should i buy them bigger so they will fit her when she's full grown? she is estimated to be about 5 pounds full grown. and idk what size carrier i should get?

I dont know about carriers but on clothes i bought jewels Teddy bear sweaters and cheap shirts ff of ebay. I didnt spend that much because she woould out grow them. i wouldnt buy her adult clothes untill she is pretty much done growing like about 7 months old. Ebay has real cute teddy bear sweaters they have all kinds of Holiday ones to that they sell before the holidays

Oh that's great!! I got Cali at 9 weeks but I am home all day so that helped. When they are that young they have to be fed several times a day and definatley have Nutrical on hand.

I've been buying everything XS because Jake is only 1 lb., 12 oz. now. They're really big on him. I did find one shirt in XXS and even it is a little big, but fits better than the others. As for the carrier, are you talking about a crate or other type of carrier? I bought a crate that would be big enough for a 5-lb. dog. Jake is estimated to be 3.5-4.5 lbs., so he'll be able to still use it when he's grown.

Same here, I work evenings so I'm able to be home all day, and my hubby is home in the evenings. Works out great when you have young children (ours are grown now) or baby yorkies!

I meant like a bag carrier, I already have a crate. I also plan on getting an x-pen. I might hold off on getting a carrier because she may be too little to take out yet anyway.

would it be ok if i just left a bowl with food out for her to go to when shes hungry? or do i need to feed her at certain times?

They usually recommend not taking them out until they've had all their shots. I saw alot of cute carriers on Ebay. You might want to check out what they have. I'm not sure on the size, I'm sure someone else here who has one can help you with that.
