Yeah, that's what I plan on doing. Don't they need another set of shots after the ones at 7 weeks? or should they already have all the shots they need?

Oh I am so excited for you! you have had a long wait for this little girl!

i had all my puppies under 8 weeks, they have all been fine, i got one of them at 6 weeks and he was fine aswell.
In UK all puppies go to their new homes at 8 weeks, but i know its different in the states so do what you think is best for the puppy.
Be sure to post pics as soon as you do get her, i cant wait!

I got a boy, and everytime I'm shopping for him (which is alot...because he's spoiled

Lexie loves her bows but I can tell you now that bear better get ready he is getting bows too.....

Mine had one at 8 weeks, he's getting another tomorrow. I think there are 2 or 3 more after that, I'm not sure. Just tell the vet you just got her, and he'll give her a good checkup.

I really want her asap LOL but i want to do whatever is best for her. i'm hoping that I can atleast get her to hold off til Friday evening so that I can spend the whole weekend with her without having to leave her alone at all.

No I am pretty certain they get two sets of shots after that. Your vet may require that they get all there shots over again with him. They dont always count the shots if they are given by a breeder rather than a vet. My vet didnt anyway and Chachi and jewels had to get the shots that the breeder gave over again

Good idea! That's what I did with mine. I got him on Labor Day weekend so I'd have a long weekend to be there with him all the time and help him get settled in. It's agonizing to wait, but well worth it in the end. I LOVE my little guy!!!

Yeah thats a good idea, to be able to spend the whole weekend with her, well actually you wouldn't be able to tear yourself away from her, you will be pulling sick days!

LOL! so true! i love the fleece sweaters and polos they have for boys!
