| I always tip my groomer!!! #1--She always does a fabulous job!!! And I love her for that! #2--Mine hate going to the groomer....and she puts up with them!!!! Again..I love her for that!!! #3--She takes all 3 of mine at a time!!!! #4--I am always able to stay and watch if I want, but I never feel like I have too!!!! #5--She always does exactly what I ask for and even better than I could have imagined! LOL!!!!! #6--The always look FABULOUS when I pick them up!!! I love her for that!!!! There are sooo many more reasons to tip a groomer, and these are just a few!!!!! She gets a great X-mas tip from me too!!!! To let her know how much I appreciate her being sooo good to my babies!!!!! I always tip 20%!!!!!! So I don't know if its correct, but in my heart, it is correct and proper!!!

| I Always tip my groomer. If I'm just getting a bath, nails, I do $5.00. If she does trimming and all, I do around $7-$10.00 just depends on what I'm having done. You will find they will get you in when ever you need them too!!! Plus I'm soooo grateful that she does exactly what I want and that is sometimes hard to find. I always tip my hair dresser; therefore, its only right to tip your dogs hair dresser LOL |

| I always tip my groomer. We have a standing appointment. She takes only 45 minutes to an hour (which few people can beat ). She does what I ask her to do.

| I always tip Tillys groomer. It's usually only $5. I feel she took her time to do a good job and she deserved it.

| I tip too but I also take them some goodies (muffins, Starbucks, etc.) when I drop Jazzie off. It's my version of a bribe to make sure they treat her extra special! I tip generously ($10.00 +) when I pick her up. Now when I call for an appointment and say "York" they automatically say "Jazzie's Mom"! They usually do something special for her and Jazzie is always happy to go! The great part of this story is I've only started to use them 6 months ago and she has only been there 4 times! On our first "trial" visit, I took a picture with me of how I liked Jazzie trimmed. They stapled the picture to her card so they know exactly what I expect.

| I always tip my groomers..... I get two dogs groomed - so it's expensive... $70 for the two of them. I tip $10..... ----- With one exception - once - a girl who wasn't even friendly or nice did a very bad job - and had a real attitude ... She wasn't very nice and I just didn't like her. So, I just paid my bill, was polite, left, and never went back. Carol Jean |

| Is it like hairdresser etiquette??? You are not supposed to tip the salon owner, but you are supposed to tip the people who work for the owner at the salon (my salon owner, is my hairdresser - I realize some salon owners do not work). She has been my hairdresser for over 20 years, and during those 20 years there were times when I could barely afford to get my hair cut - much less tip her. So....when my financial status improved, I began tipping her. Then she opened her own salon and I continued to tip her - one day she quietly explained salon etiquette to me and asked that I not tip her any longer. Anyway, my groomer is the owner and the only groomer. I have never even thought of tipping her yeah, I guess I'm a dufas!!! BUT, is the etiquette the same - you are not supposed to tip the owner???

| You should definitely tip your groomer but don't feel bad for not knowing. My mom has a dog boutique/spa and she said they had quite a few clients who didn't tip. They put a discreet sign on the register that said "we regret we are unable to add gratuities to credit cards" or something like that. Immediately people who didn't tip started tipping and apologizing for not knowing it was customary.

| Hair stylist input I am a hair stylist. If you go to your hair salon and feel welcome and well takin care of . And You love what was done with your hair You tip the stylist. A tip is a thank you for a job well done. So why wouldn't you tip your groomer if you Are happy with the way your baby looks and you know that they are well takin care of ? |

| My groomer owns the business and I have tried many times to tip her. She refuses to take it but I always give her a Christmas bonus from them |

| I have never tipped any groomers. I am a skating coach and feel that I go above and beyond for my students. I charge per time I work with them but I do SO much more and go over the time all the time. No one tips me. I tip massage places and hairdressers a small amount but I tip big at restaurants because they are only making like $2 an hour to wait on you. suz |
