Is it like hairdresser etiquette??? You are not supposed to tip the salon owner, but you are supposed to tip the people who work for the owner at the salon (my salon owner, is my hairdresser - I realize some salon owners do not work).
She has been my hairdresser for over 20 years, and during those 20 years there were times when I could barely afford to get my hair cut - much less tip her. So....when my financial status improved, I began tipping her. Then she opened her own salon and I continued to tip her - one day she quietly explained salon etiquette to me and asked that I not tip her any longer.
Anyway, my groomer is the owner and the only groomer. I have never even thought of tipping her
yeah, I guess I'm a dufas!!!
BUT, is the etiquette the same - you are not supposed to tip the owner???
