| If your pup is not a small pup - and has been and is eating well - I think they can be taken to a new home at 8 weeks. I really don't feel that the tiny little pups should ever be taken from their mother before they are 10 or 12 weeks old. And, certainly, if they aren't good little eaters, they should stay longer with their mothers. I know it's tempting to find a little puppy, grab it, and take it home. But little Yorkies are especially hard to care for if they are very small and not able to eat well on their own. It just isn't worth trying to do. We have all read too many unfortunate stories from people who have tried to do this. And - remember - there are lots of loveable little Yorkie pups in this world. If this one isn't ready to go with you - you can easily find another that is - and one that you'll love just as much. Good luck! Carol Jean |

Furthermore, I expect it to be a long flight, so why make the puppy fly back and forth from Europe to US to Europe? It's a lot of trauma for the poor baby. Have you checked the all the paperwork to get in and out of Germany and the States? Please be careful, I know people who have lost their pets this way, not reading all the paperwork through, quarantine, and some just don't survive the flight.

| First off I do not think any reputable breeder would let a puppy go till it was at least 12 weeks old, and second if she lets the puppy go early then the pup would be missing out on so much needed things with the litter mates. The age between 6 and 12 weeks are very important in socializing and more. Then I believe the puppy will be quarantined for a certain amount of time and that's not good either at that young age or any age as far as I am concerned. |

| I know 12 weeks is best. But, I got my yorkie Lacey at 6 weeks. And she was fine. She lived for 13 and half years. I just got my new yorkie puppy Chloe at 6 weeks also. She is now 8 weeks old and is doing wonderful. She is quite a handful though. But, I love her more than anything.

| I am going to Texas and there they start out at 950 and that's for boys. I have not seen a 3 to 4 lb go for 520euros which is about 600 USD. He sent me a copy of her German papers and I compared them to a few I saw online and to one that my husbands co-worked got from her breeder. She also translated what it said (she is from here) and as of the baby loving my husbands more.. I really dought it. But is she dose that's fine. And I would Waite for the ones back in the states but there a PAIN to get brought back.. it took me like a 2 month to get my bunny here. They have to have there shots right before they come. so i had to wait for her shots to be due before I could bring here... Then when i got to the air port, they said she could not come bc she was not chipped with the right chip.. so I had to get my fligh changed AGAINt and get her RE chip and Waite for the German paper work to come in, so she could come over. And if that was not enough they just changed the rules AGAIN on bring the pets in to German.. They Changed then every 3 months.. witch I think it dumb but.. that's the rules and you have to go by them if you want to bring you baby with you. |
