| ![]() We are thinking of taking her to other vet and see what they say. My aunt took her Yorkie there for allergies and they did a shot not like the vet we have been going give her 2 or 3 pill that cost a lot. And the other vets said the shot will last longer. |

| ![]() We are thinking about going to other vet and they have 4 drs there. And the one we go to now has 2 drs and they do change vet tech a lot there might be 2 since we started there. Vet does a lot of other animals plus her farm she has. |

| ![]() My Bailey(12yrs) and his mother Fergie(16yrs) that passed this last March, never got an ear infection. Both had ears that stand up. I do all the grooming. I started when my Bailey got kennel cough at a well known groomer’s. I started watching YouTube videos and tapes. It’s really amazing how little it takes to groom Yorkies, easier with long hair which they have. Part of grooming was cleaning their ears often and baths every two weeks. I check their ears almost every day, it’s easy. I comb them everyday so I always look in their ears. I keep the ear cleaner, cotton balls and Q-tips in the bathroom so there handy, and made sure they are completely dry. I found that if I tried to pluck or cut the hair out it was like I was pushing their hair back into the ears, with the Q-tip. If it was longer it stayed out and it seemed like there was actually less hair in there to worry about. That’s just me. I wish you, Good Luck😊 |

| ![]() Thankfully, Tibbe doesn't need long term allergy treatment as his are seasonal, intermittent. He only had paw itching once, during his allergic reaction that quickly turned into a bacterial skin infection, a reaction to his MVD prescription food, so it has otherwise worked well for him anytime we’ve used it for his eye, nasal watery drainage. But that actual skin infection took antibiotic injection and I think a steroid, was awful. He suddenly stank, itched all over, suddenly scratching all night, so come morning, off to the vet. Came home already feeling much better, was back to normal couple days later, that fierce itching done. Thank God for vets!

| ![]() We brush her just about every day. But she likes to rub her head on the rugs or cover up here food before she eat some times. |

| ![]() She don't itch a lot. If we take her for a walk, when we are done we take a baby waps and wap her feet off and her belly and privates. That's what the vet said to do to help her allergies. |

| ![]() If this is how our vet treats allergies I would definitely be seeking a new vet. Use the vet your aunt used for her yorkie.

| ![]() That only does so much. Normally they have already gotten allergens in their system. I found that when I wiped Callie’s paws it actually kept them slightly moist and yeast grew.

| ![]() It’s one mg per pound although they could have twice that with no bad effects. My pups are bigger so I can use the pills and cut them in half. You can also use liquid children’s Benadryl but it can get sticky and it .4mL per pound.
