So I got an email today that said even though the FDA never found the cause of why so many dogs died from the Chinese chicken jerky treats that it is marking resolved. This is very upsetting and I feel very let down by the FDA.

Outrageous! FDA takes dogs for granted. Wonder how deeply they even looked, amount of effort they gave, money they spent?

I just make my own chicken jerky with my dehydrator. My girl goes nuts over it, but just gotta make sure the thickness is about the same cause otherwise it won't be the same consistency. But I also cut them up into bite size pieces, afterwards, so she doesn't accidentally choke on them or scratch her throat. If I get store bought chicken treats it's usually the freeze dried ones. I don't trust FDA at times, so I feel more better about making it myself, since I know where it came from.
