| Is it an infection or yeast? Generally if it’s reoccurring you probably looking at allergies which would be very common at this time of year. You might think about talking to your vet about if this could possibly be allergies and what can be done.

| More then likely that is the issue. Penny doesn’t grow hair in her ears but they are floppy and at the beginning of spring she ALWAYS gets a yeast infection in her ears.

| The four yorkies I had, 3 were floppy eared, 1 was standup, never an infection of any kind with those girls and none of them had allergies. Cody on the other hand has allergies and has gotten some serious ear infections and he has German Shepard size ears, I was blaming the groomer for getting water in his ears and not drying the ears, my vet said no, it's allergy related. Then he had 2 yeast infections, the last one was very bad, the inside of his left ear was flame red and swollen, all his ear infections is the left ear so I watch that one if he scratches it. We have a very high pollen count where I live so this does not help matters.

| That’s not going to do a thing for allergies! What are her allergy symptoms?

| I forget what they said what the fish oil was good for. They never did anything to see how what it might be or told use to see if it was anything we was given her. Just said she has allergies and that been years ago. Since she was getting sick a lot. |

| She don't do the itch much she does do the licking on her feet more often. No reaches. If she did have one that's been a very long time ago and it's not from licking or a itch either. Her feet may get a little red from licking but it don't stay around long either. |

| I think I would try the cytopoint injection. It’s very safe and lasts 4-6 weeks although it can last longer. I think she probably has environmental allergies going on and you definitely need to treat them.

| My vet recommends OTC Children's Benadryl for Tibbe's allergies. Check very carefully into dorrect dosage with your vet for using this drug but it helps allergic inflammation, drainage. But be certain of your dog's ear diagnosis, Benadryl won't cure a yeast or bacterial ear infection once one had started and the dog is in pain.

| If your pup has allergies ask your vet about giving her Cytopoint injections or Apoquel pills. Licking feet can be a sign of allergies. My boy gets Cytopoint shots for his allergies, he scratches a lot and licks his paws, the Cytopoint or Apoquel helps relieve itchiness but you have to make sure it's allergies the pup has. Seems to me your vet is not helping to figure out what your baby has, may be time to seek a new vet.
