What kind of bones

I read no marrow or T- bones they are too hard ....what kind of beef bone isn't?
I have a butcher nearby and can get something ....just don't know what....

Is it better than bully sticks?

My boo was givin nyla bone from his breeder. Both my dogs chewed them and i threw them away. They chewed the plastic off. I was afraid they were swallowing it

Well you can't give them cooked so it has to be raw. Bulky stick is the same as bully bone.

For RMBs (raw meaty bones), I live to give Bison rib bones and I have the butcher cut them into smaller pieces, like 4 inches or so, which is perfect for yorkies.

I don't think any butcher within 100 miles of me has any bison bones. I have tried goose necks and my two love them.

I get the Bison bc they often have them in the Pet Freezer at Whole Foods - I grab them and then take them back to their butcher for further cutting. They're a really nice size. Do you have a Whole Foods near you at all?

I think beef rib bones would be just fine too...they should be small enough so that a yorkie could chew on them, but big enough so that they can't really consume them.

Now, if you *want* a consumable bone...where they can eat the whole thing, then you'd want to go with like chicken wings, drumstricks etctera...small bones. I don't go that way only bc I so fear the choking hazard.

Yes, beef bones would be fine too - maybe try beef rib bones? I like the rib bones bc they're small enough so that my 3 kiddos can gnaw on them, but they're large enough/hard enough so that they can't consume the actual bone (which I prefer).

Femur bones are available, but are probably way too big and too hard.

I'm afraid of raw chicken too....no whole foods...cosco and Sams club and of course Walmart ...I'll just get some baby back beef ribs and trim them down good ....that oughta work?? Just don't want them to break teeth...
