Yes, beef bones would be fine too - maybe try beef rib bones? I like the rib bones bc they're small enough so that my 3 kiddos can gnaw on them, but they're large enough/hard enough so that they can't consume the actual bone (which I prefer).
Femur bones are available, but are probably way too big and too hard.
