LMAO about the penis stick. I didn't know what they were until I read about it on YT. I don't know who even thought up the idea to make a treat from bull penis for dogs.. couldn't it have been a chicken stick or something, lol.

I give bully sticks occasionally and never had a problem with them. Just playing devils advocate but instead of saying bully sticks break teeth maybe it would be better to say I used to give bully sticks but stopped because one broke my dogs tooth and she had to have surgery. Alot of people give bully sticks with no problems so I think its the blanket statement that they will break teeth that upsets some

I have heard many stories about them breaking teeth and I normally do say because they broke my dogs tooth. The vet dentist said it to as well as rawhide and anything harder then that. My issue was more with the person accusing me of lying and changing my story that is why I posted the threads I did. I am many things but certainly not a liar.

I think it's kinda funny people warm people on this board about breeders, medicines, foods, treats toys and so on but if you say something about a product someone loves or likes then they either don't like how you say it, find fault with what your saying or straight out call you a liar.

Yes I see that too and agree with you your kinda damned if you do or damned if you dont say anything. I dont see anything wrong with your postings personally because I dont take it personally if someone doesnt like something I do but I was just playing devils advocate but maybe I just shouldnt have said anyting. Taylor, when there is someone on the forum or your real life that finds pleasure in just being rude, nasty, follows you around to point out what they find fault with just do as I do.....use the ignore feature. Both PERSONAL ignore (Ann suggestion many years ago to me) and/or also the forum ignore feature are great tools to use. Don't worry for a second that misinformation might be given there are others here that can address it. Nobody needs to live in your personal space until invited. It's just easier for me to move on than be known as a nasty ole bitty......I guess since I'm officially 50 today old I'm worried about the label more now than ever. The older I get the youngins bar keeps rising. So you are a youngin in my book and I'm an ole bitty . A happy ole bitty that's going to Uncle Julio's for Sangria Swirl Margaritas to celebrate 50

Isn't this just the absolute truth, Taylor !!??? We can all be so very sensitive when someone else doesn't happen to prefer/like something that we give to our own babies. I think we're all just so concerned with doing the best possible thing for our kiddos that when someone comes along and says they don't happen to like a product we're giving, it hits us personally - even though it's almost never meant that way.

I just give my yorkies cow hooves and C.E.T. Dental chews. I know some people have had problems with those. A dog or puppy can choke on just about anything if the circumstances are right. I know someone who's dog choked and died on dog food. With any chew you need to try to take the chew away from the dog when the chew gets to small.
