My butcher offered to cut down femur bones but just don't know... | I get the Bison bc they often have them in the Pet Freezer at Whole Foods - I grab them and then take them back to their butcher for further cutting. They're a really nice size. Do you have a Whole Foods near you at all?
I think beef rib bones would be just fine too...they should be small enough so that a yorkie could chew on them, but big enough so that they can't really consume them.
Now, if you *want* a consumable bone...where they can eat the whole thing, then you'd want to go with like chicken wings, drumstricks etctera...small bones. I don't go that way only bc I so fear the choking hazard. |
