My husband works at Lowes. It depends on the store manager. I have always taken them to hone depot and Lowes without a problem. I think they dont like big dogs so they post a sign mine I put in the cart or pouch. I put a blanket in bottom of cart.

I work in retail if you or your kids are sick stay home it is not right to get store employees sick and then they have to go to work sick because they cant take sick days. There is no excuse to go to a store sick or take sick kids to a store it is just inconsiderate of others

I have a pouch like a back pack but it's made to wear in front, He's always in the pouch when I go in stores. I have taken cody to Home Depot, Lowes, Bed Bath and Beyond, Pier 1, TJ Max, crappy wal-mart said no, I called before I left my house, a member on YT said she worked in wal-mart and if you were stopped to ask for the manager (I think it was the mgr lol) K-Mart is so destitute for customers I think they would allow an elephant in, so Cody shopped in K-Mart, Sears, of course all the pet stores, I put the beast in the shopping cart.

Sorry you got offended, but yes I still think it's ridiculous. If your dog is on crate rest, leave it in it's crate! Not difficult. As far as the surgeon's office thing goes...if my dog got sick just going into the office, I would find a different doctor. Not put it in a stroller.

It's not rude to respond how I really feel about something. I never said "LOVETODREAM88 IS STUPID HAHAHA". I was specifically asked what I thought about strollers and purses. I responded. I'm sorry my response is not to your liking, I guess?

I guess you don't understand how depressed a dog can get on crate rest and how that then effects there eating and healing. Hopefully you never have to learn that. You really sound so hard and unfair to poor dogs it's really sad.

Sometimes you do have to take a dog but you don't really seem to be very dog friendly. Nothing is black and white!

Why should a dog have to stay in a crate when a stroller allows it to be much more involved? The stroller lifts the dog off the floor, it's easier to move, and doesn't have to be closed.


My dog isn't injured, but her stroller is great for keeping her safe. She's way too small to safely walk in a crowded area and it gets too hot and heavy to carry her for long periods.
I also use it during parties so she can be in the action without getting hurt or running out the door. She chose to get in the stroller instead of sitting on my lap.

She loves her stroller and begs to get in it.

I don't care if people think it's silly. It keeps my dog safe and makes my life easier. If my stroller broke I'd immediately order another.

Every time I take Lola out in her stroller at least one person asks where I got it and says it would be great for their pet for various reasons.

I didn't care for your response either.. Sure it is your opinion and you are entitled to it. That said, I honestly don't care what you or anyone else thinks. I do as I please. My dogs all go out with me in a stroller...I often take 2 - 4 with me and the stroller is perfect!

As for the comment about crate rest having to be in a crate...that is patently untrue. I have had plenty of dogs recover in crates, strollers and/or xpens. I work with the needs of the pup...many of them really don't handle crates well. My Cookie spent 8 weeks in a stroller after CCL repair and she was fine after that...she would have gone nuts in a crate.

Even Dodger's List approves of other options...and that is after back surgery!

Buy a back up stroller...I have a few.
