........OMG!!.............. If this had all been written in "Yakkistangolanguise", it would not have been any further from my ability to comprehend what y'all are talking about!!! Let me get back to my "on-off" button, my "drag to copy" button, my "file" button, and see if I can unscramble my brain after trying to understand what was said by the posts above!!! Leaving the "computer sleuth business" to all of you that know what in the world you are doing!!! |

At least we know that Gemy and Judy won't be trying to make us believe they are someone else. :D |
I can look around and see if this is explained better somewhere on the internet.....not be explaining it well. .. I have some basic knowledge of it but not in depth knowledge so I may. Wow! I think you did a wonderful job of explaining because I (who am completely ignorant of the workings of all things technical) believe I have a bit of a grasp on the very basic addr-thaang. You also pointed out that this whole addr side business was a result of ZacharyDY avoiding-to-bullying-to-narrow/horrible routine. |

Now, how they do that, I have no clue! LOL |
I also think respect is the fundamental priciple when posting. |
It should be Sadly people often bring their bad attitudes with them :( |

Oh 'ell no!!! I am doing good to remember who I am for real!!! I have NEVER been any good at lying (about going surfing!) or sneaking (skipping school to go surfing!!!)...the couple of times I tried that in high school, I got caught and punished! So I just gave up trying to lie....it is much easier for me to tell the truth so I dont have to remember what I have said!!! |

As to your links about someone in Colorado..... I don't care who you believe ZacharyD is....what I can tell you is that I know it was not someone in Colorado. I think you have missed the point..ZacharyD was not on a computer in Colorado. That was established, but you apparently just believe everything people tell you. ZacharyD was posting from the same place where the breeder lives. So you want to show me two links to prove she is someone else? LOL I never said there was no such person as whoever it is on that Tricks or Treats article...I said that ZacharyD is not that person. I can't believe that you cannot see that this poster had feathers and quacked, but hey..if you want to feel like she has been maligned...that's fine. Her posting was so extremely suspicious from the start...and then it went on to pure lunacy. |
Some people join a site to stir up Crap!! |
Very well thought out... Quote:

I have noticed an increase in complaints by people that have limited communication skills on a public forum, and they misinterpret any post that disagrees with what they have said, or a post that suggests they have more important issues that need addressing, or they complain about being told they need to be vetting their dog, or they take offense at a posters style of posting, or speech patterns, or even typing styles...OMG!!!...the list goes on and on! All this criticism for advice and help, given for free, and by people that are knowledgeable in a vast array of different topics.....but apparently not delivered in a cadence or style or speech pattern one finds politically correct or benign......maybe we need to have a "For Adults Only" section, where adults come to ask other adults a question, and then adults respond to the question, offering their knowledge about the topic, possibly actually helping the poster, utilizing adult suggestions and direction, delivered in an adult manner. No insults or belligerence or judgmental criticism, by either person.....just a question/answer session......posters that only appreciate and tolerate "warm and fuzzy", can stay out of the "Adults Only" section. Bold, straight forward honesty is not the same as ridicule, insults, harassment, and condemnation, and should not be considered or misinterpreted as such..... |

Bold, straight forward honesty is not the same as ridicule, insults, harassment, and condemnation, and should not be considered or misinterpreted as such..... I try to be careful when responding to qst/comments, but will admit I sometimes see 'red' and perhaps need to pause and take a deep breath before posting reply. I do, however, very much agree with Yorkiemom1 in that wearing kid gloves and molly-coddling (uh-oh, showing my age again) the super-sensitive types isn't going to help anyone---least of all, and most important, the canines. Personally, in my year or so of reading this site, I've seen very, very few--very, very harsh posts; and while I have read some rather scathing comments, those are usually in response to being 'attacked' by confused individual who inappropriately went on the offense and evidently needed simple easy-to-understand clarification (redundant, yes, but part of my point). |
OOOOOHHHHHHH!! Just read your reply, Wylie's Mom. I'm with you all the way. It was a very good post and a good reminder, but geez, sometimes it's hard to be good! I think maybe you should run for President, because you have way of making everything alright. Thank you so much, again and always! |

Of course, it will all continue as is anyway because it is the nature of online forums. |

It happens here with words that are typed! People read and take what they want from it ... and then swear that their interpretation is gospel. There are many ways to say one thing.....I think that it matters not how some of say things, because if it is honesty that someone does not wish to hear, we will be leaped on no matter how we say it. Not saying that is true in all cases, but in many. I cannot even begin to imagine how many complaints you and admin must wade through. All for a non paying job. EEK |
As a really excited new member I agree with this type of behavior not being allowed. We all love our babies and are just looking for support on how to be the best parents we can be to them. |

What a wonderful post and obviously much needed! The fact that this topic even has to be addressed among adults is completely absurd to me. Like teaching compassion, mannerisms and filter. I have been a member for just a short time now and absolutely love the topics, interaction and site as a fun & most helpful resource to me. Our fur babies are like our children, they eat with us, sleep with us, go on vacation with us, completely interact and completely involved in our every day lives. I see posts where pet owners are completely beside themselves with grief and fear over there fur babies health and come with questions, concern, participation and feedback not attack. It all has to do with delivery, not sparing someone's feelings to the truth but as a human being having compassion, tact and yes sometimes filtering your response. it makes newbies such as myself not even want to participate but why exclude myself from such a wonderful sight for someone's poor behavior. I commend your addressing this issue, but somethings just cannot be taught |
thank you Quote:

[QUOTE=Piddle Place;4611552]Thank you, I so agree. I love this site, I love the photos of everyone's fur babies, the comments, and the sharing. I have learned quite a bit here. It's worth it! A group hug to us all[/QUOTE That's so nice!! |
It's gotten a lot better here in the last six months or so. Who's not here anymore? LOL ;) |

I feel badly that someone looking for help or to vent or anything would be made to feel this way, so if they read this I share my favorite Coco Channel quote that I refer to whenever I've been made to feel this way in life "I don't care what you think about me, I don't even think about you". I think there's so many wonderful, helpful sweethearts here, don't let a few stinky apples discourage you. And please don't let them chase you away, the more yorkies the merrier! |
