The vet said it is in his honest opinion that I was sold a sick puppy, that the hypoglycemia is a symptom of another underlying problem, and that it is very unlikely that Joey will make it. He is going to write and sign a letter to me so I will give that to the breeder. If he doesn't make it no way I want another pup from this lady. He even asked me for her name so he could warn other future buyers. Last edited by darlenejmnz; 05-26-2013 at 01:31 PM.

Shame on this breeder for releasing a baby so young and small, and then not taking any responsibility!

In my contract, it stipulates that in the event of the death of the puppy, a necropsy must be done at an accredited vet school, A&M if the pup is in Texas. That way, we dont have the new owners sister in law who is a vet, do an autopsy and "miss" something....we have an impartial third party pin pointing the cause of death.

I took him to the breeder in the hopes that she will give him the care that I can not give him. Hopefully he will get better and can come back home. I believe in miracles and I believe that one could happen. This may sound silly but when I held him on the almost 2 hour drive to the breede,r for the first time in the last two days I didn't cry and I felt like everything will be okay. I felt like it wasn't the end yet, I don't know why. He seemed to be doing good and I fed him twice on the way and gave him lots of hugs and kisses and told him that I loved him. He's a little fighter I hope that's enough to make it through. Whatever happens I know he will be okay. But I will keep on praying. Thank you guys so much I honestly don't know what I would do without your support. I will try to keep you updated.

| Bless your heart. I've been offline for a couple of days and missed all of this. I will send up prayers for you and Joey. Hopefully the breeder will come through for you both.

Thank God you were able to take him to the breeder and that he was a good boy on the journey. Perhaps when he sees his doggie mommy and siblings he will gain some more comfort and strength. The feelings you had on the way there were so sweet and touching, perhaps he is over the hump and on the way to health again and he was telling you that. It made you feel good and hopeful and you needed that. He is a fighter and has proved that these last few days. So please try and get some much needed sleep knowing Joey is being taken care of. We here are breathing a sigh of relief for you as you do need a break from all this grief and trauma. I am praying so hard for his recovery and return to you as the happy, healthy, pup he should be. Miracles can and do happen and little Joey and you deserve a miracle. Sleep tight tonight, tomorrow will be good. Peace and hugs.
