Thank God you were able to take him to the breeder and that he was a good boy on the journey. Perhaps when he sees his doggie mommy and siblings he will gain some more comfort and strength. The feelings you had on the way there were so sweet and touching, perhaps he is over the hump and on the way to health again and he was telling you that. It made you feel good and hopeful and you needed that. He is a fighter and has proved that these last few days. So please try and get some much needed sleep knowing Joey is being taken care of.
We here are breathing a sigh of relief for you as you do need a break from all this grief and trauma. I am praying so hard for his recovery and return to you as the happy, healthy, pup he should be. Miracles can and do happen and little Joey and you deserve a miracle.
