| The Rogue is a good choice! I've been driving DH's this week while my Escape is in the shop. It's quiet, comfortable, and gets fantastic mileage.

| Donating YT 3000 Club Member | How do you like your escape? I am going to start looking for a new car. It is hard for me to get in and out of mine so I am looking for something a little higher lol. I really want a jeep wrangler. But I don't think it is the best one for what we do

If you get a Jeep Wrangler...the little 2-door kind...well, let's just say that the back seat is practically useless, and getting stuff in and out of the back is equally bad. We wish we had thought of these things, and got the 4-door instead...with the lovely hard top, I might add. It is great to wobble down the beach in as long as there are only 2 people in it.

| Well, the problems I've had lately notwithstanding, I love my little "Goldie". I've put nearly 75K miles on her and she's been good to me for 7 years. She's getting a little long in the tooth, so it's nothing unexpected. If I had any complaint at all, it would be road noise. But I just crank up the radio and live with it. The fact that I don't have a car payment is the best thing of all; still can't help thinking the $3K in the last 2 weeks would have made a hella downpayment on a newer model, LOL!

still... Wasn't expecting the service to be that much. It hurt my wallet. ![]() IF I had to pick a "dog friendly" feature it would be a sedan. While the on off switch thingy for the airbags is nice when it's just you and the babies out on the town, it's cumbersome when you have people in a coupe. The windows are automatically bigger (and useable) so the pups in the booster or car seat in the back can enjoy the view. Too bad I'm an anti- sedan type of person. I would get over my disdain of the sedan for a WRX STi or a lovely (and hopefully huge) 4-door pickup truck. I

| I've been eying the RAV4. I like the smaller SUV's and it is supposed to have a large back area. I definitely want a higher car. The Camaro sits so low I can't see over the cars parked on the street when I am coming out of my driveway or on the freeway. Plus it is harder to get in and out of a low car.

| I have a Pontiac Vibe (hatchback) and it's WONDERFUL! Besides the fact that I was pushed off the highway in my first one at 9,000 miles and totaled the car (boo hoo) and walked away with NO broken bones (the engine split in half )...it's an awesome car, lol. I've had my current one for 8 years and I'm so sad I cannot get another one. It's really dog friendly too, without it being obvious. The back seat windows are low and the back seats fold down flat. They have hooks so I can put 3 dog crates back there and not have to worry about it slipping and sliding. It has 125K on it now...don't know how much longer it will last but I love hatchbacks. KIND of eyeing the Honda Fit Sport, but gotta do a little more research. I worked in a car dealership for 5 years and I'd be in trouble if I didn't look into it LOL
