If you get a Jeep Wrangler...the little 2-door kind...well, let's just say that the back seat is practically useless, and getting stuff in and out of the back is equally bad. We wish we had thought of these things, and got the 4-door instead...with the lovely hard top, I might add.
It is great to wobble down the beach in as long as there are only 2 people in it.
