I started driving SUV's when I saw a video of a crash between a pick-up truck and a sedan. The bumper of the truck hits the person in the sedan right in the face. So no matter how great the sedan's crash ratings is, that bumper is useless unless it hits another "low" car. After that, it's "high" cars for me, period. The only reason I'm changing car is that I'm tired of the same car after 8 years. I'm eyeing the CR-V now.
Good to know that your's has held up so well. I like the CR-V too they both are highly rated. I like the way the back door opens to the side on the RAV4 rather than down on the CR-V.
