| I've traveled long distances by car with Troy and I have just used a leash and walked him around a gas station/rest area. Usually when I stop for gas.

I travel long distances by myself all the time. I travel in a car 12 hours or more with no problems with my little one. I just leash her in the back seat passenger side so she can see me with her blankie and pillow and she is good to go. Fortunately for me, she will sleep the entire drive. I also just leash and walk Brandi. I NEVER EVER leave Brandi alone in the car under any circumstances. And if I have to go potty, I take them with me unless I am traveling with someone else who can watch her. It's a pain carrying her with me everywhere but it is better to be safe than sorry. | |

| When I travel with ZoE on long trips, I take her pop-up portable pen and just open it & put some pee pads inside it. She will go potty in there. It is flexible & folds down flat....very easy to transport.

Katie Scarlett's Mommy Donating Member | We just moved from PA to AL, although our KS was used to driving back and forth. She is pad trained as well, but at the rest stops, she would go on the grass at the rest areas. I tried to put down pads next to the car, but she would not use them. She wanted to go in the outdoors. LOL. Best wishes on your move!

| Same here. Tatiana is indoor pee pad trained. However, she goes potty on the grass when we go outside for walks or outings. For long road trips, we stop at gas stations or rest stops to give her (and us) potty breaks. For her, I look for grassy spots. |

| Mr. Nieman had traveled thousands of miles in the Pickup. Never a problem. Just take him for a walk whenever you stop. His Bladder will oulast your Bladder! |

| We did a very long road trip last year with Jack from Ohio to Florida - whenever we would stop for potty breaks and to change drivers or just refresh, we would walk him around in the grass and let him go there. He is also pee pad trained but since our trip, he seems to prefer going potty outside - having him do both is a win-win for us! As long as your up to date with your flea and heartworm meds, there should be no worries of picking up any of those nasty little critters. Good luck in your move!
