I know alot of people just leash their babies and walk them around at gas stations and resturants and let them potty. I am a maniac about my dogs touching anything in public....so I take pee pads with me, and when we stop at gas stations, I go to the bathroom and line the floor with the pee pads and let the babies use the pads there. If it is a really long trip, I have an ex-pen.....we will pull into a roadside park, I put a tarp that I buy at Ace Hardware, on the ground. I put the ex-pen on top of the tarp, and I put pee pads and their water and food in the ex-pen...they can eat a little, drink a little, walk around and pee on the pads in the ex-pen....This way, we dont pick up any fleas, ticks, cockle burrs, etc....!!!
