We just moved from PA to AL, although our KS was used to driving back and forth. She is pad trained as well, but at the rest stops, she would go on the grass at the rest areas. I tried to put down pads next to the car, but she would not use them. She wanted to go in the outdoors. LOL. Best wishes on your move!
