| For the face I use a big bath sponge that holds a lot of water. It is easy to control the quantity and where it goes. Works better for us than the cup. I do have a sprayer that attaches to the shower but neither is very happy about it. I do have a plastic tub with clips on both sides and that has been a fantastic help. To make it easier to use I put a big bin upside down in the tub then the dog tub on top of it.

The non skid mat is very important. I put one in the kitchen sink where I bathe Gracie. When their feet are on a surface that they feel more secure on they are not as afraid during the bath. A folded up towel can be used if no mat is available.

| Whoever mentioned the cup, it didn't work. He's a squirms at the touch of rinsing his face. He doesn't mind the suds and scrubbing on his face, just the rinse. The washrag is the best solution and what I've been using all along. I did try the cup in the very beginning. Also, I don't think getting a different 3-way hose would help his situation either. |

I use a special dog sprayer that has 3 spray strengths. It hooks to my kitchen faucet. It comes in very handy for the body, however, I do use the weakest spray to rinse out the longer parts of her mustache. It does not get in her eyes or nose because the water runs quite slowly and quietly. But Gracie is quite an experienced bather and it does not bother her a bit.

| I use a laundry sink with a non-skid mat & hand sprayer. Lexie is very good the whole time. When it comes to the face, I turn the water down way low, grab her mustache, press the sprayer right up against & underneath her snout. It doesn't seem to get water in her nose. I also use the bath sponge to gently cleanse around the eyes. Long as I have a grip on her mustache, she doesn't fight it. Blowdrying is another matter. She really doesn't like it ,but tolerates it. i dry her face on low & she flattens herself like a pancake on the counter & closes her eyes til I'm done with her face. It's so cute! Oh & she gets bathed once a week at most.
