I use a special dog sprayer that has 3 spray strengths. It hooks to my kitchen faucet. It comes in very handy for the body, however, I do use the weakest spray to rinse out the longer parts of her mustache. It does not get in her eyes or nose because the water runs quite slowly and quietly. But Gracie is quite an experienced bather and it does not bother her a bit.
I would never bathe him in the kitchen sink~! That is the place you eat and in my eyes should be sanitary. Plus he shakes frequently when bathing and I'd had to clean the walls with him. I have a large sink in the basement and it works for me. I don't clean those walls tho, but they sure need it, I'm sure.
