I'm posting a pic of Tessie helping look for her cousin Teddy (in the back seat late that night going everywhere). And then 2 pictures of my sister with her Teddy She was sooooo excited! Of course she's not crazy about the photos of her since they were taken after she was rained on and of course cried off all her make-up after being reunited with her baby I really wish I could have been there to video or take pics of when she finally got home tonight with Teddy & reunited him with her son Chase. Teddy loves Chase and I'm sure he licked him to death

It honestly seems like someone may have taken him and thought that we might have been "vacationers" and they might be able to keep him, but after ALL the unbelievable attention- they knew there was NO WAY they would be able to get away with it. It's definitely very strange that he just turned up tied to the golf cart in front of the condo. No one was in my sister's condo, but she left the door open with just the glass door and all the lights on. She had done that the whole time hoping that if Teddy was out he would recognize and come back. There were 2 larger posters on the front glass door with both of our phone numbers, but we didn't receive a call. We talked with neighbors this morning and no one saw anything. The couple next door said they returned from dinner around 10pm and he wasn't there. So we honestly don't know, but we're so very thankful that he seems to have been taken care of and they brought him back to us. We may never know what really happened....but we do know that we are extremely blessed. My sister called the newspaper on the way home today and she has ordered a newspaper spot to thank everyone in the PCB area for helping us find Teddy. We are just so grateful for how nice and caring everyone was in helping us spread the word and helping bring Teddy back to us. And thank you so much to all of you YT'ers for your support and prayers! It definitely worked!!

| Tell your sister that she's gorgeous...having all her makeup wash off in the rain is a good look for her. Plus, you can see her happiness and love for Teddy better. I seriously believe that Tessie's eagle eye while driving around was instrumental in finding Teddy as well. Boy is she concentrating on her task...and such cuties they both are. Again, I am so happy Teddy was found and in such excellent shape. Wondering if you have further details where he was, who had him, why they just tied him to the golf cart. Very curious...or maybe it's just me...

| I am SO glad to hear that Teddy is home! It is very odd that he was tied to the golf cart without so much as a phone call... But thank goodness whoever had him decided to return him. What a great ending!

| You and your family are a good example of what to do when you loose a dog. Some people think that making a few posters and visiting a few probable places a couple of times are all they can do. Sometimes people don't realize that many of us live in different circles of life and a description to one person may mean nothing to someone else. You put out the extra effort and thanks be to the grace and goodness of God it worked. Who knows how all the exposure and effort you put out and the prayers of so many people could have changed the heart if the person who had him. Someone could very well have spotted him with other people and discovered he was not with the right people. Many people take in what they believe to be stray animals in resort areas and then abandon them at the end of the season. Teddy and the family are very blessed that he got to go home with his people. God is good. We sometimes read so many sad stories concerning Yorkies as well as other animals here on YT that it is sheer joy to get to read of a happy ending! |

| Your sister looks GREAT considering what she went through. Normally if you find a dog and are able to track down the owner you are excited and want to meet them and share all the details on where he was found and what the dog has been doing. That's why I feel it was someone that originally thought of keeping the pup but after seeing all your effort and determination started to feel guilty and scared that they could not get away with it, so it was easier to just drop him off and not be asked a bunch of questions. When my sister's yorkie went missing she was out of the country and my elderly parents were watching her. They did nothing like you guys did, including not calling me because I was in MI and they were in NY or not calling my sister because they did not want to ruin her vacation. I still get so angry when I think about it because had they contacted my sister or I the dog would have been returned before nightfall since the people that found her called the number on the tag which was my sister's home phone. But my folks don't know about things like caller ID, the computer or walk very well. I really think your situation proves why the effort you took is needed and can work, once again I am just so happy that Teddy is back with his furever family.

| True happiness is beautiful to me and that woman with that precious dog in those pictures is beautiful and happy ad looks wonderful sans make-up! What a little sweetheart little Teddy is! I'll bet he was sure glad to be returned home by that nice person who did it, whatever had gone on before. And little Tessie looking out the car window that night is so cute. I cannot imagine what it must have been like for your sister when she first realized Teddy was standing by that cart. She must have just freaked inside and I'll bet her heart jumped a foot inside. Wow! I'll bet she couldn't believe her eyes. This is just a wonderful story and sounds like no end of intrigue was going on in little Teddy's life during those 4 days. Thank goodness he was with a person who took care of him and somehow saw to it that he got home whatever had gone on. I love happy endings and it sounds like this was quite a wonderful example of one of the happiest. I guess you will never forget this visit to sister's place!
