Answered prayer and hard work probably got through to somebody who had heard you were on the hunt, else why wouldn't they ring the bell and explain how they found him? |

I hope you find out what happened, but since he was just dropped off like that I wonder if the person that found him had no plans on returning him, but because of such a big effort on your family's part there might have been so much attention that the person got to scared to keep him. But no matter what happened he is back where he belongs and I am just so glad to hear that. |
Thank You so much!! We still have no idea who brought Teddy back to us. We have gone over numerous scenarios, but we really don't know. We would give anything if Teddy could talk & tell us! We do know that he had to have been kept inside the entire 4 days/3 nights because he was clean and smelled just like the doggy cologne she had just put on him and still had his new collar. It rained heavily for most of the 4 days that he was missing- so he was definitely not outside. So we assume that someone picked him up- and it's possible may not have known where he belonged since he didn't have his ID tag, BUT after the 2nd day there was almost NO WAY that someone couldn't have known....We had probably 1000 flyers everywhere, all of our cars had his flyers posted, 1000's of facebook shares, etc. By the 4th day almost everywhere we went people already knew about it and said they were "on the lookout" for Teddy.
It honestly seems like someone may have taken him and thought that we might have been "vacationers" and they might be able to keep him, but after ALL the unbelievable attention- they knew there was NO WAY they would be able to get away with it. It's definitely very strange that he just turned up tied to the golf cart in front of the condo. No one was in my sister's condo, but she left the door open with just the glass door and all the lights on. She had done that the whole time hoping that if Teddy was out he would recognize and come back. There were 2 larger posters on the front glass door with both of our phone numbers, but we didn't receive a call. We talked with neighbors this morning and no one saw anything. The couple next door said they returned from dinner around 10pm and he wasn't there. So we honestly don't know, but we're so very thankful that he seems to have been taken care of and they brought him back to us.
We may never know what really happened....but we do know that we are extremely blessed.
My sister called the newspaper on the way home today and she has ordered a newspaper spot to thank everyone in the PCB area for helping us find Teddy. We are just so grateful for how nice and caring everyone was in helping us spread the word and helping bring Teddy back to us. And thank you so much to all of you YT'ers for your support and prayers! It definitely worked!!
