| This is not an attack by any means, BUT seriously....howcome you can't answer that question? That throws a "red flag" to me, which may be why some of these people on here were alarmed!

| If anyone is being attacked, it's the breeder.

| Two of them, yes. One however, was a German Shepherd. And he's definitely NOT a small dog. haha. But the small ones are a doberman min pin, and a jack russell terrier.

| Yes it is different if it is a larger breed that you brought home at 8 weeks. Small breeds are very tiny, fragile and vulernerable at 8 weeks

| I'm sorry, I'm not trying to ignore your question. I am talking to her about keeping her until she is ten weeks. I don't know for sure what's going to happen, but I've been assured that she would be fine. I know you all disagree, and I'm not saying your wrong or anyone else is right. I trust you completely and am very appreciative of everything you all are saying.!

| Still very different then a yorkie. I sure wish you would take this age thing seriously.

| I would consider walking away.....but if it is the money that she needs 2 -4 weeks earlier......can you not pay her a bigger portion now?

| Oh..okay. She should be willing to keep the puppy longer. Like others have said, it ought to be 12 weeks, so your really pushing it. But I feel like you have been warned, and if you really want to be responsible and mature, then being patient is part of that, so hopefully you will make the right choice. The breeder can't force you to take her by a certain date, and if so then HELLO, bad breeder! Either way, I just feel for the little babygirl.

| Me too. I would pay her most of the money if that is the case and see if she will keep it until 12 weeks. I know 4 weeks don't sound like a lot but in a small puppy it makes a HUGE difference. I know you are feeling overwhelmed by all this information. Not trying to overwhelm you at all. Just wanting you to be aware of what should be done.

| I don't know why you don't think I'm taking this seriously? I'm being honest. And I've done nothing but thank you for all of this information. I feel like your saying I'm an awful parent and I don't even have the baby yet! I'm doing everything you guys have said, I'm talking to the breeder right now!

| We are not trying to say that you are going to be awful at all. Just want to educate you with what we know from prior experience. You are not to blame. As some one else posted, the breeder should know to keep the pup until 12 weeks.
