| Stupid woman. poor babies. They really need to have stricter animal laws and enforce them. I hope this haunts her for the rest of her life, i would never leave my babies in the car even if it wasn't hot, someone could steal them and I could never recover from the grief if something happened to them because of my negligence and selfishness.

| How does this keep happening? In the summer, Tibbe does not go in the car just in case of some mishap and we would be stuck in the heat. When he has to go to the vet, I take extra water and only go stright to the vet and straight home. I take NO chances with him in this hot Texas heat. It is just not worth it. I have the whole rest of the year to let him ride in the car with me but won't chance it in the summer or any day when the temp is over 80. Still, he is never left alone in the car - ever. I can't understand people like this at all. They read and hear the same stories we all do so why doesn't the message register? What is missing in them? A brain?

| This is terrible. Even if it wasn't hot, leaving them cooped up & probably scared for all of that time with at least no potty break, probably no food or water either? Plus after a vet visit, most dogs aren't in the best of moods to go there (mine isn't). Then to leisurely sit & eat for 2 1/2 flipping hours? How could you not feel guilty about that under 'normal' circumstances? She does have a lot to carry on her conscience for the rest of her life & I hope she gets a criminal record to add to it. But it's hard for me to believe that someone so careless even cared for their dogs much to begin with.

| It is amazing that people think it is okay to leave children or dogs in a car at all but lead alone in the kind of heat we have been having. You just wonder why common sense isnt kicking in and letting them know its not safe

| That to me is the scary part. Are we humans (and I don't mean us, more like a general we) so self centered and cold hearted, that we can't do what's right without being forced into it? Don't drink and drive, you can loose your license; don't walk into the middle of the street, you can get a ticket for jaywalking; don't litter, you can get a fine; etc. Really?!?!?!?!?

| I dont know because it is a law here not to leave children in the car but there are reports here of people doing it so I think its a little bit common sense and a little bit someone just thinking they have got away with it before so do it. It doesnt make sense to me
