How does this keep happening? In the summer, Tibbe does not go in the car just in case of some mishap and we would be stuck in the heat. When he has to go to the vet, I take extra water and only go stright to the vet and straight home. I take NO chances with him in this hot Texas heat. It is just not worth it. I have the whole rest of the year to let him ride in the car with me but won't chance it in the summer or any day when the temp is over 80. Still, he is never left alone in the car - ever.
I can't understand people like this at all. They read and hear the same stories we all do so why doesn't the message register? What is missing in them? A brain?
