| I am not a violent person really but this kind of ignorance does make me want to pull out the torches and pitchforks.

| I get so upset and mad when I see a dog in the car in a parking lot. Don,t these people care about their dogs? Well I guess they have the mentality of a 3 year old. Or Alzheimer or some other mental disorder. They are stupid and selfish! |

| I am so sad for these 2 doggies, and I like the suggestion of making people like this woman sit in a car with the windows sealed in the heat to get an idea of what her dogs suffered.

| I use to work as the Marketing Director of a large summer music/art festival and was walking the sidewalk of the art area with my DH and came across a large dog curled up on the floor of a car. The windows were up and it was about 80+ degrees out. I rapped on the window hard a few times but the dog didn't move. I called the police and they came and started to open the locked door. Just as we got it opened the people came back and were furious with me saying they weren't gone that long and saying the dog was just fine. They took time to yell at me instead of checking the condition of their dog The poor thing could hardly lift his head at this point. Good thing the police were there! He got in touch with animal control as he was going to, as he put it, "relieve them of the responsibility" of having a dog. Poor thing was so dehydrated he could hardly move. I hope he found a good home.

| I have to admit that I do leave my babies in the car sometimes.....HOWEVER, They are buckled in their car seats with the car running and AC on high....and of course the doors locked. Even then, its only when I have to make a mad dash in a store to grab something. I cant imagine leaving my babies in a hot greenhouse of a car and letting them bake....All I can imagine is that some people just dont feel like their dogs are their furry children as I do...but then again, you also read about infants and children dying from being left in cars...its just plain stupidity!

| Has anyone seen the device they have been showing on tv to alert you if the baby or dogs are in the car when you get out? Are we that stupid of a nation we have to have alerts go off to let us know our baby is in the backseat. Skin or furr??? I don't mean to be judgemental but I'm tell'in you, I don't understand this. |
