This is terrible. Even if it wasn't hot, leaving them cooped up & probably scared for all of that time with at least no potty break, probably no food or water either? Plus after a vet visit, most dogs aren't in the best of moods to go there (mine isn't). Then to leisurely sit & eat for 2 1/2 flipping hours?
How could you not feel guilty about that under 'normal' circumstances? She does have a lot to carry on her conscience for the rest of her life & I hope she gets a criminal record to add to it. But it's hard for me to believe that someone so careless even cared for their dogs much to begin with.
