| There are crates that have dividers and 2 entry ways. For a yorkie the most it would run is some $60. This idea is a good one, but they are robbing folks of $125 and a payment plan. The divider that comes with come crates you can easily take wire cutters and make a whole so to create the same exact thing as puppyapartment.com. As others have suggested you can buy an ex-pen and make your own "apartment" for your little guy. Our yorkie will be two in a few weeks. He was potty trained with pads and an ex-pen but after he turned 1 he was more inclined to do his buisness outside.

| I tried the xpen I put his cage, food and a training pad in it and Secret hated it! All he did was cry. So I moved him into my bathroom (half bath) put all the same things and he loves it. He's only in the bathroom when we're working. He's house trained but I'm still not ready to let him stay out all day by him self. When he's in the bathroom he'll use the pad but when he's around the house while we're home he won't use the pad I leave out for him he'll just hold it. So I kinda don't trust him just yet :s I say don't waste your on the puppy apartment (lol)and do what ever will save you the most money! Good Luck

| We started Deuce off on washable pee pads and then began training him to go outside. He would use the pee pad if we missed his cue to go out. We would not scold him. Well we had it in a convenient location so he would use it when he wanted. At about a year old we removed the pee pad and put it downstairs in the furnace room and continued to take his cues to go outside. Now he just uses the pee pad when it is raining or if we miss his cue to go outside. This is exactly what we wanted to accomplish with him. I like having a plan B for him when the weather is bad. We use washable pads and I have about four that I rotate.

| I honestly don't like the idea of the pee-pad being so close to the puppy's bed anyway. I mean I wouldn't want to sleep next to my toilet. If you change the pad after every time the dog pees on it that will get very expensive and if you don't change it the pad will smell. I wouldn't want my dog to be sleeping next to a stinky pee-pad. I don't like the idea of crate training one way or another. My yorkie goes inside on pee-pads because our schedule is so irregular that it is simply impossible to train him to go outside and maintain a routine. His pee-pad is in the opposite corner from where his bed and food dish are. And it took a bit of time to train him to go on the pee-pad. I just put him over on it every hour or so and sometimes he went on it. And now he just goes over to it to do his business.
