| Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | I'm sorry you ran into so many rude people. When people ask me what I paid for Tallulah, I just tell them I can't remember because she has become priceless to me. |

				 | I think you handled yourself perfectly. I don't think i would have been so nice! It is better to be safe than sorry so picking up your little one when a big dog comes over is always appropriate especially when she is so little. With 5, i keep my in a stroller or in my ams unless i know the people and the dogs they are around. I think everyone was just jealous of your precious little one! |

				 | For the rat comment... I always cover my dogs' ears and tell the offender they cannot say stuff like that because it hurts my dogs' feelings, and then they run around sad all day long. Then, I turn to my dog and say, "You didn't hear what that silly lady said, did you? Don't worry, you are the most beautiful doggie in the whole wide world. Some people are just blind, but we forgive her, because we know how to be nice to people, and we have good manners, don't we? Some people just have no class at all!" Poppy is just the cutest pup ever! (Don't tell Jillie I said that!)

				 | A carbooty is a car boot sale. The trunk of a car is the boot in England. People get together and have a car boot sale - selling things out of the trunk of the car - sort of like our garage sales. (I remember after I had been in the USA about a year my parents came to visit, and one day I mentioned to my mother that there was a garage sale down the street and would she like to go. She looked at me like I was crazy and asked me why would I want to buy a garage) The USA and England - divided by a common language

				 | People always think Beamer is a female and Lil Bit is a male - because I keep Beamer in a long coat and a bow, whereas Lil Bit is kept in a puppy cut. Even my best friend when she comes over keeps calling Beamer "she". I keep having to remind her that he is a male. I wouldn't worry about those people at the carbooty Natasha. Just blow it off.

				 | Furbutt, I am sorry you had such horrible interactions with such rude people! Yorkies are so special, and I think only owners of yorkies, or really small dogs in general get it. Furgie is like my baby. I take her to doggy day care because I work long days (3 12 hour shifts that can sometimes turn into 14 hour shifts), too long for her to stay home by herself. I have a car carrier I harness her into and she can look out the window, the carrier can also go on my bike and we go on bike rides...I love her sooo much! I just posted a thread asking if other people are called crazy for caring so much about their pup. The other day I met my girlfriend at starbucks. She held on to Furgie while i went in. Some guy told my friend, if the coyotes don't get her, the owls will! When she told me that...I was like WHAT???? I am glad it wasn't me he said that to.....who says that to people???? People can just be dumb! And lucky for us we have YorkieTalk....where we are understood and don't have to feel embarassed about caring and spoiling our little pups!

				 | Rude People! It seems like the world is getting to be an uglier place. I have noticed it more in the last couple of years. I work pt. time in retail. Some people say it's the economy. To me it's not an excuse to be nasty to people that you don't even know... I try to ignore the rude comments. I look at these people as being sick and unhappy. My neighbor has called Calleigh a rat before, but I know him, and I'm not offended. He would never hurt me intentionally. He's a jokester. He will always pick her up and cuddle with her. I always pick my pup up when I see any really large dog that I don't know. I don't go around saying, "what is that a horse?" As long as you protect your little one, that's the important thing. I'm sorry you had such a bad day. I hope the next time you'll have a much better time, and the ugly people will stay home where they belong.

People mistake my older dog Jess for a boy all of the time because she wears a black collar and has a blue lead, it dosnt bother me and I usually just let it go without correcting them. But that man who asked to BUY her was down right RUDE! And Im sorry but if anyone had called my Poppy a rat and mocked her I wouldnt have been able to keep my mouth shut! I would have TOTALLY flipped my lid and made a scene that is bang out of order! The *** probably resembled a freaking hippo herself, how dare she call ANYONES dog names grrrrrrrrr!! Poppy is beautiful and dont let anyone tell you any different, I hope you have a better day tomorrow.

				 | I think the best thing to do is ignore the rude people, let them be rude and unhappy with their life. Thats how I see it anyway. I think half of the people that are rude are very unhappy and the other half are jealous we all have such beautiful babies. Pnut has been called, a rat, snake food, a girl.. Comments like " wow my cat is bigger than him, " is that really a dog".. You know. All the rude things in the book. Honestly I just ignore them, I wont give them the time of day. |

				 | Oh my gosh...the rat comment really gets to me. My little Roxi is 1 lb 7 oz. We took her to the pet store with us and this lady points at Roxi and says to her husband "That's not a dog. That's a rat." My daughter gives Roxi a kiss and says to Roxi, "Don't listen to her. She's just jealous that you're way cuter than her." LOL |
