Well,I happen to come across this site about this lady you all referring to as Crystal Hardacker,After reading these threads I wrote her back asking for my $ 250.00 deposit back on the dog chco/parti up on puppy find.com.I was buying him for my son whom has cancer and St.Jude says dogs are great therapy dogs for kids with cancer, Volunteers even come with dogs there to visit the kids.So my son wanted one again and well i had been talking with her about this one and she said she needs to sell him cause she has to leave for well she said this to me in my e-mail.........

I asked her to give me til next Friday due to my son being the hospital,he got electrocuted so he had lost feeling in his right side of his body,as siting here in the room i was looking on the internet about Yorkie talk and found this site.So i wrote after i read all this and asking for my deposit back and well she responded by stating in her own words....
hi ok will be fine. i just have to leave due to work. next wednesday is all. if worse come to worse it could be saturday. i will make arrangements for friday on delta. you can just send the 375.00. i have been using a firend of mines paypal account as i have not been able to get one set up for me. my name is crystal lynn. he name is crystal Hardacker. she as well raises yorkies i do not know if you were wondering about the different last names and not sure if i told you yet or not.anyway he is doing well.

Well now this has been a very interesting thread. . . .

I am happy for those of you who were able to settle with this breeder. She seems very sincere in her apologies and that she thought she had pure bred sire and dam. I'm just not sure I belive her.

I'm curious: Out of the three of you who received non pure breed pups from this women.

Where they from the same litter ?
Where they from the same sire and dam ?
Did any of you ever see both the parents ?

You know I not coming on here hurt anyone, just want to know if she was that of the same lady. She e-mailed me back today saying...I feel so bad I thought she was the same lady... I'm just showing her response to show I was mistaken and she was not the same lady. But she never told me when I sent her money through pay pal it said Crystal Hardacker, not Crystal Lynn well she puts me straight sorta speak here. Was I wrong for assuming this was her? hi first of all my name is*CRYSTAL LYNN*not*CRYSTAL HARDACKER .CRYSTAL HARDACKER is a good friend of mine who*i used her paypal account as i do not have one.i had thought you knew that from the beggining as you said paypal would be easiest for you.*she is a good friend of mine who i*have worked with for a few years now.i will stand by her and defend her as she is a good person .she raises yorkie too.THE ALLEGATIONS AGAINST HER ARE NOT HER FAULT.*she bought 2 yorkies*- male and female who were golden colored*yorkies from a breeder who told her they were purebred* registered yorkies. she did get ARP*papers from*the breeder* for the yorkies too.i personally saw the yorkies and yes they l;ook purebred to me how was anyone to know?*she bred the 2 yorkies together had a litter of puppies from them and sold them. one of the ladys who bought*a puppy had said she did a mail in dna and the puppy was a mixed breed..*these kind of dnas have been found out to be invalid. i have always been told to dna with the registry companies such as AKC, ARP, CKC or ACA. the lady did not use*them she used some mail in one by who knows what company possibly even a scamm copmany. Crystal hardacker*still did right by*this lady*by agreeing to take the puppy back and refund* her money to her. she also*did not breed the yorkies who produced that puppy*again- she put them in*a pet home.just to let you know that lady who bought the puppy has,*according to other breeders, tried to get free yorkies from them in the past too by making up stories.i thought you were chrisitian and from what i learned in church you should never believe in or *take part in gossip.it only ends up*with bads things happening.*i have been honest with you and done what i can to work with you but yet you find a gossip column on someone and immediately put fault without knowing the whole story. this is not the christian way and*i do not refund on deposits, i held him for you and this is not even me!!!i know 2 other crystals as well- it is a common name but look up my*name if you**WANT TO KNOW GOSSIP ON ME IT IS CRYSTAL LYNN!!!*please get my correct name before putting blame on me.

I wrote her back apologizing for my mistake and I want to say sorry for posting this. Her pay pal I sent money too said money sent to Crystal Hardacker. Not Crystal Lynn so I assumed it was her. Again my apologies for this.

i did not read all the replies due to the big number, but incase you do read my reply . i am not a yorkie expert either, but she really looks like a beautiful & healthy mix to me.

LILCAT get your money back or chalk it up to lost $ in a learning experience!

Contact hospital's social worker, they should give you recourse to a therapy dog trainer or on how you can get a therapy dog for your son. A certified trained, therapy dog.

Yorkie's are not generally good with children, considering your situation, really consider a therapy dog that comes trained, etc not a puppy from a breeder whom has been known to be unscrupulous.

Or Google therapy dogs in your area or contact your local humane society...in the least consider a dog not a puppy! Try rescue of an appropriate breed for your family.

What I find funny about this is the fact that Crystal Hardacker/Cyrstal Lynn claims she didnt know that her breeding pair werent pure, yet the OP's pup is a silky/shih tzu mix!!!! Ok, a silky I can see someone confusing for a yorkie, but a shih tzu?? REALLY?!?!?

Run from this woman!! I highly doubt Crystal Lynn is a different person, and even if she is, she is defending a BYB!! Therefore in my eyes as just as lousy of a breeder as the other Crystal

When I Googled her both names come up after she lost AKC registration rights because of issues with mixes being registered as purebreds (i.e. fraud already determined by the AKC) suddenly there are two different crystals not one maiden & married name crystal...I could recheck or someone else could just use Google too in this day and age it's soooo easy to find out who people really are using the internet.

People are going to this women looking for pure breed Yorkies and are ending up with mutts !! People who grow to love these little guys while all the while thinking they are getting what they paid for. Thats totaly messed up.

This women should have her breeding rights taken away or my goodness just sell the pups as mixed. There is a market for these designer dogs as they call them. Just Be Honest . . . I think she knew darn well what she was doing and that these were mixed pups. Especially if this was not the first time, same litter, same parents situation. This had to of been brought to her attention before now.
