Many read the standard in their quest for a yorkie and do not see "Parti" and question..Like I am here.

My dogs have all been Dna Parentage tested and DNA Dog breed identification tested.

If they were Yorkies, they wouldn't have a separate breed signature.

How can they have this AKC information on them when the AKC does not even recognize them?

Not to pass judgement on your breeder but... Since the Parti is out of the "Norm" did you ask for DNA proof of parentage?

I for one do NOT hold a pedigree as a conclusive document. I purchased a female for my breeding program. I was given the registration documents and pedigree for "her" by her seller. As it turned out the documents she gave me matched a totally different dog. Had I not caught this, I would have registered the dog and been breeding her under a false pretenses.

The term "Parti" is a term used to describe the color of yorkie we have. They are Yorkshire terriers. Like someone will say I have a chocolate yorkie, or I have a gold yorkies. Parti owners say I have a Parti yorkie, and you know that dog is spotted.
AKC papers state they are "black and tan Parti-color.

That is why I believe that ALL AKC dogs should be DNA'd

What AKC information? That's from the Biewer's club. They also state this further down.

We are proud to be taking an active part in the development of this remarkable new breed, the Biewer Terrier and we welcome everybody to become involved in this exciting part of the its history. Our long-term goal is to take the proper steps to gain AKC recognition, so that we can exhibit as our own unique breed at AKC shows under the standard that best fits our exquisite Biewer Terrier.

If the adult dog are DNA'ed the only reason the puppies would need DNA'ed is if there was an oops breeding.

The Biewer Terrier is a purebred of its own and not a Yorkshire Terrier. The BTRA is the only registry set up for the Biewer Terrier breed and feel it is important for the foundation we are developing in America to reflect the correct name for recognition as a breed of its own.

The BTCA President, got the mars to do testing under false pretenses posing as a vet, she has also been banned from ever showing in the IABCA for life.
I am sure you can find alot more on this presidents not so truthful ways.

If there was a different breed signature and that is a big, if, it was either because there were some hanky panky or they tested those biewers that got sent over here in bunches that were mixed, and yes when the biewers started getting shipped over here from Germany, breeders over there saw the $$$ signs and bred anything that looked like a biewer and sent some of them to the clueless Americans at that time.. "IMO"

I'm just finding it hard to reconcile the idea that the Biewer DNA testing is falsified, while the Parti's are all on the up and up. What does the main registry for Biewer's in Germany say?

Now how can tis be when the AKC doesn't even recognize them.

That alone makes the entire Wisdonm Panel organization's credibility suspect.

If they can put that false information on their websitre, what else on there is false.

It is the same as the YTCA claiming that there is NO white gene in the yorkshire terrier. That information is incorrect and they know it. So therefor everything on their site becomes suspect.
