Actually I am not just anyone off the street. I have been going to see the pups for over a year. They won't sell to anyone unless they have an appointment. I wonder how many breeders out there actually are lic, inspected and can exhibit animals that are on here bashing a very nice family. I am not who you accuse I am a 65yr.old Vietnam vet nurse. My name is Maggie and I'd be happy to show my Louie to any nay Sayers. You are all very mean people. I must say how much I really appreciated Kelly attitude over many poele that are snooty patooty in this business. I am though going to tell her about these haters writing evil things. I believe her husband is the District Attorney in San Jose and would like to know that someone who did not get a dog from them is on a mission to hurt them and their family.

I go and admire about every two weeks but ordinarily i could never afford one of her precious puppies until now. She makes people sanitize to pet and shares a lot of very valuable information about dog care. For as long as they have been doing dogs, i can find few people that have bad things to say about them. Most breeders have at least half bad reviews. You know sometimes people exaggerate and are hateful for no reason at all. My Louie is one of the nicest and prettiest little fellas you have ever seen. Everyone stops me and wants to know where I got him. I think I bought him from an angel. She gave me papers, a contract, immunization records, vet check papers and a bag of food and a blanket and toy. I had to take him to the vet and get a vet check and if anything is wrong then she would have paid for any care. his stool was perfect and the vet says he is a premium puppy. He just gets excited and is very social. He does get kind of spastic when he was to give a kiss. this dog is my life and I am so grateful to the angel who sold him to me. They work hard to take such good care of those pups and deserve to make money too if they can. What is wrong with people being so hateful these days?

A good breeder this person is not. No good breeder sells their dogs to just anyone who walks on up PERIOD. I don't care what else you say.

And, I would think a district attorney most likely has better things to do with his time than follow a yorkie forum...like perhaps...his job - prosecute real criminals?! Hmmm...wondering if this D.A. has prosecuted animal abuse cases? Who knows, in this crazy world maybe his wife was one of "the defendants"

Just curious but what exactly is this DA husband of hers going to do? I mean it is just a forum and it's just people's opinions on breeders. I don't think he can really do anything because someone is giving their opinion on his wife's breeding/selling tactics.

Yes it was Valley Fair Mall. She didn't go by collier ranch yorkies but by justmypup. The store's Facebook said it was collier ranch coming in so I don't know if she has several different names that she goes by but like I said things just don't add up when it comes to her.

I think I have seen her!!! I've been to VF. Was it at happy-go-luck boutique???? I also see a lady with 3 yorkie pups. I don't feel that she would be a good breeder if she's selling her dogs at the mall. It's no different from selling dogs at a flea market!

HAHAHA I read this and totally made me laugh my butt off!! Thanks for the laugh! If her husband is a DA...I don't think she would be trying to make some quick bucks by selling innocent puppies in a dog boutique store!

By the way, I have been to happy-go-lucky when the breeder was there with her yorkie pups. She definitely is not a reputable or even a decent breeder. Unlike what "Timetells" said, I didn't have to sanitize my hand to pet the puppies. They were really young too...like maybe 8 weeks old...TOO young to be out surrounded by people to pet them and "aaww" all over them.

Funny thing, first she started off with just a boy from them, then in another thread it went to her getting a girl a few yrs ago(Even though she's only been seeing their puppies for "a year") from them and a boy recently, to now she's getting a third from them and earlier in this post she said she could barely afford to buy the boy. Her story is confusing me.

My boyfriend has a twin brother who has a 3 year old Silky Terrier and he and his wife are currently searching for a little yorkie pup. There were four yorkies there total that day, two from the same litter, one from a different litter, and the one my bf's brother and wife fell in love with who also came from a different litter. Just hearing that they had so many different litters at one time made me a bit suspicious. What also made me confused was the fact that she was saying that the puppies were one price but when she walked away and her daughter came, the daughter said a dramatically higher price (for example: the one we all liked was originally $500 but when a different group asked, the daughter told them $900). When the breeder saw that my bf's brother and wife might actually buy him, she said she would sell the puppy for $350 cash with no papers or health guarantee. We could hear her muttering to her daughter "I am not coming home with puppies today...I have a new litter coming in that I need to make room for." My bf's brother didn't want to pass up on the deal (because that's a pretty crazy deal...) BUT the reason why he was going for so cheap was because he had, what the breeder called, a "spastic" thing about him. Meaning, he was always jittery. It wasn't because he was cold or anything, she just said he's always full of energy and just has these shakes to him. We eventually persuaded my bf's brother and wife not to get the puppy because I just found her too suspicious with all the comments she was making (it really seemed like she didn't care about them at all despite the fact that she kept saying, "These are my babies!").

I tried researching what could cause these "spastic" movements of his but came up with nothing. He was an adorable puppy with the most beautiful face I've seen...but something just didn't feel right about the situation and the breeder. I did do some research on her after I came home and found a sad review about her here on YorkieTalk so I do feel better for telling my bf's brother and wife that I didn't think they should purchase that puppy. But I still feel a little guilty because his wife was so in love with the puppy. She didn't mind that he was "special" and was willing to take extra care of him so I do feel bad about it but I just didn't think everything added up.

Anyways, sorry for the long post. Just wondering what you guys would have done if you were in my position? And if anyone here has a yorkie who is like the one we saw (jittery all the time)? I'm still so curious about what could be the cause for it. I'm thinking it's something neurological but I'm not sure.

Hello Everyone talking about our family! I got this call from one of my good customers tonight and she was so upset that strangers were passing judgment on me and spreading rumor. So A Big Shout out to MARGE!! Thank you DOLLFACE !

Let me first introduce myself, I am Kc a fourth generation kennel owners with over 30yrs experience breeding, showing, and doing private rescue. I also make the cutest homemade dog clothes on the planet. I have friends the world over and my 6 sisters, mom, grandma and 2 aunties are all my partners. We do this together, and we do it really well. Where ever we go, we take our babies large and small. If it is a Meet and greet at a boutique, we hand out cards and make everyone sanitize before they pet(no picking up please) I get to meet my customers several times before I get to say YES or NO. And trust me...i have no problem saying NO. I joke, I kid and I play with lots of people and I can do that because I answer to a higher power(my grams and My mum) I often offer to trade puppies for peoples kids too....

Now I, unlike most BYB get to see my customers first and then I get to choose who I want and then I go to their home and see if they are truthful with me. I do the picking and the choosing if I feel the slightest doubt. Most breeders sell to strangers who simply call up a newspaper ad or a web ad and then have the STRANGERS in their home or meet them in some parking lot. (terrible) But unlike me..they do not have a 4 generation history of perfect business practices, I maintain business lic, bank accts, tax ID, USDA lic to breed and sell to anyone, anywhere I please if I so do choose.

So, when this young couple came in and were chomping at the bit, I joked and played offering them a really cutie pie pup at a super great price to kinda just blow their mind. (sometimes I tell people they are a million dollars too) (lookie -loo's galore sometimes)they we'ren't serious but much to my surprise came back and actually wanted to take the puppy. They were very disappointed.soooo they came her and acted like they were trying to save a puppy from the big bad breeder. RIDICULOUS! This just goes to show everyone, there are more sides to every story than meets the eye and ENVY has always been an enemy. The shop hosts several really reputable breeders that hold a 5 star rating and inspection with betterbreeders.com (a real watchdog group). We are the most stellar breeders you can find in the bay area with the finest studs money can buy. I get to pick and choose my customers and there is no shortage. My pups go for much more than average trust me..we have a waiting list and transferals from more customers over the years that you can shake a stick at.We donate to NARF dog rescue for every spay deposit we collect and have a 75% spay and neuter rate for any pups I sell because I give a rebate incentive. So, when all the other judgmental people go out there and get invited to the most exclusive dog events and build themselves a top of the line 20 acre kennel with a vet on our board.(thanks grams & gramps) and can be in business for 30 yrs without a single lawsuit(my husband is a contract attorney not a D.A) or judgment ...and remain a top AKC KENNEL THEN THEY CAN step up to out league. But bottom line is there will always be the occasional disgruntled customer that didn't get the dog, or didn't take it to the vet and returned it sick a month later with no shots, or the ones that drop and hurt it and try to hustle a new pup, or the ones with buyer remorse that just want a discount. But for everyone of those we have dozen more over the years that are our friends and are always welcome at our ranch. We have UC DAVIS at our house daily doing research on our white sturgeon. So, no worries. And the next time I decide to be nice and give someone a great deal or maybe even a free puppy..I won't because remember it takes one bad apple to spoil the bag and no good deed goes unpunished. People are so hateful and paranoid that they will try and take a lifetimes work and ruin it with a minutes bad paragraph. Typical and predictable. I also sneak my pets in restaurants on occasion but it doesn't mean i want people to think I eat them....you people are so totally ridiculous to attack anyone you have never met.........hurts my feelings to think how much we adore our pets..my sisters and i each go to bed every night with each of our 6 yorkies..so sad this disgruntled customer who never got anything from us would try and smudge our name or create hostility toward US of all people. It leads me to believe that the "group Think" and hen pecking still is possible in this hard society. If anyone really cared to know and enjoy us as the biggest sweethearts in the Yorkie world all they have to do is see us on Facebook. If anyone wanted to get a pup from us sometimes they have to wait 6 months., and many will. We love going to the clothing boutique and letting kids sanitize and sharing our babies. We always wait until they are 9-10 week after their 2nd shot. Why would I risk suck a huge investment?Hmmm, now that sounds like common sense. because , we love the breed and we love our friend's store and it brings people in and they are Happy when they pet a pup and I answer so many questions on care and feeding a nd realistic _vs_ unrealistic expectations. I share books and I often give referrals to other breeders i know are great and ethical. Someone sent cop in the other day to check all my permits and documents...guess what? he took my card and he and his wife came to our home and got a pup. look on our FB page at ABBY , the rescue lab no one wanted. We spent tons of money and time trying to rehab this anti social girl..she went to a Modesto PD and his family and avoided Euthanization..I have to ask myself why anyone who really does not know us would try and create bad feelings. The internet is full of violent hostile people who will stalk you and hurt you for things as many of you suggest or say about people you don't know. I have my own recipe and I am very proud because I have the very finest dogs money can buy..do you not think people will steal from us if given a reason or a chance? Think before you attack is all I say..It is really hard but reflect the way you think by being a positive and kind person. I forgive those of you who do not understand how this works.
