We have a support group for out AAI pups. And The foundational rules is not to solicit for donations. Thus we requested surrender of the pup. She instead said no she is attached and wants to seek help to get the pup surgery in her care. Just clearing that up with facts. |
I would also like to state- I do not have the heart to read thru all of the latest comments. I think the passion to save this pup is right and admirable. I also believe going off course to bash anyone is wrong. Sadly she is also a breeder that is wanted by people because they do want tinies specifically. That is a fact right or wrong. I have zero interest in the drama. My only interest is for this specific puppy that God will move Tanisha's heart to give immediate care and surgery when pup is ready. I think of everone on here i know what i am talking about with an AAI pup. My pup was diagnosed 11 wks. Immediately in body cast until she could age and bones stronger. She had respiratory issues in the cast. At exactly 8 months old she had to have surgery. She survived surgery. But two days later lost her battle with resp failure and bones still too soft to hold screws- so had to change to pins. I know this diagnosis. I know the care of an egg shell baby that i adored with my entire life. I know the horrible pain of seeing her take her last breath in my arms. So with all of this said i hope you trust me and the other moms on our AAI group as being experienced first hand in knowing how to speak with Tanisha. I was horrified probably more than anyone to see the videos and follow this story. But we put our anger aside to offer education and compassion in behalf of the pup. We still pray for full body cast and immediate help or surrender. By statistics she is too young for surgery. But every case is diff with these fragile babies. We do not support seeking funds nor do we support auction of a stud dog that may be an aai gene carrier. This all goes back to education and overriding pup $ for health care. If a breeder breds tinies- i cannot bash if a population wants tinies. But i am passionate about proper education. And i certainly believe in prayer- for this pup to be in His care and not suffer- and to even use Tanisha to open her eyes to see what the pup needs. Thanks. |

You sure do know alot of details, I've read all the posts from you, and Donna you obviously are in regular contact with her, and I sure hope her husband -that shes so afraid of that she posted her baby for $5000 just so he would *think* she was selling it doesn't see these posts....really? How old are we? Small Potatos Donna? every dog this woman breeds has a value because its a living breathing thing, why should they be valued any less than yours? How totally cold hearted... small potatoes? 1+1=2=infinite possibilities... |
Wow, just got on this thread. This is what happens when I take a break from Yorkie talk and make homemade gnocchi. Let me try to re-cap on everything. |

Prove me wrong....but, sadly I don't think you will. |
mn All you had to do is read this gals posts on here to know what kid of breeder she was. Also it doesnt matter what the general public wants tinies Im sure they dont want a dog with health problems so I guess they are just hoping they are one of the lucky ones. It is the breeder that should know to do better than these type of breedings |
The youtube video that's posted along with this poor baby just sickens me. It's puppy exploitation. It's truly hard for me to have sympathy for this woman, my heart goes out to the poor fur babies she takes into her clutches. The more humane thing to do would be to surrender this poor baby, and not attempt to raise funds. This only would fuel the fire of her continuing to "breed" with the expectations that if something goes wrong, people will bail her out. There needs to be consequences for her greedy behavior, and if that means this baby being surrendered, than so be it. If she was willing, which God knows she wouldn't be, I would have no problems taking this puppy and surrendering it to a rescue that would get her the proper medical care that she deserves. And just to make things clear, Jackson is about and hour away from me. My work headquarters used to be located there, and consider it "close enough" to me if it meant helping this baby. |
Lynzy I am sorry that you would get from my posts that I am an advocate of Tanisha's if that was true I would not have said publicly she should not breed or offer stud services. I am against any breeder that tries to mess with the standards of the breed and I have been long before becoming a member of Yorkie Talk. I was appalled and disgusted after being gone for several days to NY to open up my FB and to see the fundraising efforts plastered all over it. I contacted several members of the group to see if they felt the same, I was relived to find most agreed with me. Because my name was mentioned in earlier posts I stated what I have seen. What I have seen leads me to believe that if someone was in it just for the money they would not have told the whole yorkie community about Mia's problem, they would have swept it under the rug, I have even known show breeders to hide things like this. Because I have made this observation does not mean I agree with her or what she is doing. I like discussion threads where while you might not agree with some things both sides are talked about, I don't like threads where everyone just joins the bashing bandwagon and I would think most yorkie talkers are the same. You are correct every dog counts, but it does not negate the fact she is a small breeder, IMO should she be breeding, no, but a fact is a fact and she is a small breeder. I said this only so others reading the thread would know that. I was interested to read about the opportunity she has to surrender the pup, I think that is a good idea, because while I think she is trying to get it help, I don't think her financial and family situation is right for this puppy. I will be letting her know what I think and also be letting others in the group know of this as well, who knows maybe I will make a difference, but if any of you know a family member or friend that has not taken advice you have given you will understand if nothing changes. |

I'm sorry you feel bashed(better than bullied), but its not my intent. I'm trying to open your eyes just a little bit, but like Tanisha you choose to see what you want...I looked at the videos.... Now what would I do if I was in your shoes? The same thing I do here I grab a poster board and I stand in front of the petshop that I bought my Mini at, maybe you could call the spca in your county and implore them to talk to her, maybe you and your friends from the meetup could do an intervention? picket her house, how much does it mean to you? sound rediculous to you? Rose colored glasses must be nice...I would do it in a heartbeat....EVERY SINGLE PUP COUNTS.... |
very good point about the stud service, I was commenting more about pups she has given birth to under her roof, but i do see your point and it makes sense. I will be letting a lot of people know about this situation, and anyone that checks her out as a breeder will surely have lots of information to mill over. |
I have never heard of Chiari, but have looked it up, it does sound very similiar to GME...and funny thing is Isabella constantly even before her diagnoses of GME would constantly scratch at the right side of her neck and shoulder blade area....I always thought her Micro chip was bothering her as it was just right under the skin and I could actually feel it....but her necropsy came back definite GME/NME. and Isabella never made sounds or acted like she was in pain while scratching but the treatment looks to be the same... I am afraid i have to agree, this little girl has so much going on with her it may be best to let her go, i know it sounds terrible but having watched Isabella go thru the 3.5 months of treatments and how bad she got I do not believe I could ever do that to a little one again.....I realize now my love for her should have been stronger as to let her go.....but I just could not believe she could not be cured.... I also agree that Tanisha needs to spay and neuter her entire breeding program, there have been over the years many GREAT responsible Yorkie Breeders over the years who had to do the same thing.....and there are still many well known Yorkie breeders out there that are hiding flaws in their lines, and then people like you and me are the ones who suffer for it... I have never liked what I saw from the first time I ever saw Tanisha's breeding practices and I told her so...but rather than try to educate herself she chose to be rude and insulting....and say she had no health issues in her lines that her dogs come from excellent Champion Lines?????? what she failed to recognize and follow up on is those champion lines she is spouting about are flawed....and they are from the lines way back that were spayed and neutered ....anyone can make up a fake pedigree..... I just feel so bad for this little girl..... Here is what I found on the Chiari Syringomyelia (SM) and the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Quote:

Confused. All I have to say is: Unless Dogwood has some type of charity program, the tax deductible claim cannot be correct. Maybe somebody should call and tell this office about the claims being made. This is the neurologist who was consulted on Ellie's case. From what I have been told, Isaacs and Galle are very nice, very knowledgable neurologists. I hope somebody does tell them what is going on. IMO, surrender or euthanize. Making money on all these puppies and then collecting donations to keep a sick one is not fair. |

Why do I keep looking at these videos? :( Here is one of Tanisha's daughter holding the poor puppy. Her head is so fragile that it could snap at any second, yet she is allowing a child to hold her. I cannot blame the little girl for wanting to hold and cuddle the sick puppy but it's obvious to me that Tanisha does not understand the severity or the risk involved with allowing this to take place. Finally, I would like to remind you that after your Ellie died from complications of AAI you contacted me to help you bring home your new little girls from Michigan. I picked Lynnie up at the train station and drove from Chicago to Michigan. We met Wendy and her husband on the side of a highway. The reason that I did this was to help you both heal from the loss of your little girl Ellie and help to med the heartache that was created by your breeder. I remember you saying that your breeder did nothing to help you both financially when you spent a great deal of money to try to save her. Your response to me afterward was to UNFRIEND me on Facebook after I drove HOURS to pick up your new baby. You then lied to me about not removing me as a friend, claiming you didn't know how that could have possibly happened. You asked me to send you another friend request that has sat ignored for almost 2 years. Your actions toward me speak volumes then as well as now. My lesson was learned. :( I will not stop with Tanisha EVER! She needs to be stopped and the misery that she perpetuates from her breeding ethics is not something that you or anyone else will ever be able to justify in my eyes. Prayers from you or anyone else will not help this poor puppy. Rescue and responsibly will. :thumbdown |

Sorry people who buy from her are not wise, to put it as politely as possible |

I can't even look at this thread anymore, reading it makes me so so sad :(. Mia is so beautiful and because of her condition she should obviously undergo surgery ASAP. It makes me sick to think about that poor pup just sitting there helplessly :(. |

Oh my gosh. I am just sick. This is breaking my heart. :( That poor sweet little baby. If AAI is like a broken neck then imagine how much she is suffering. Oh gosh. :( Taryn it would be awesome if she would give her to you. Don't know that she would ever let that happen. Why can't there be more done to stop people who are not breeding correctly. I am just sickened by all this. |
she is asking for donations of items from people to hold an auction next weekend to raise money for the surgery. Does she not realize that perhaps if her breeding methods were of an ethical nature there would be less chance of this poor pup having been born, let alone with this spinal injury. And do the idiots who are supporting her and enabling her really not get that what she is all about is wrong. I noticed a friend of mine had "liked" her on FB and told her to unlike as she is a highly unethical breeder |
