I have a HUGE problem with her studding out this male! He alone could be producing hundreds of puppies. She's advertised him all over the internet for his services. Anyone who thinks for a second purchasing one of her puppies is wise needs to do research on AAI! What an incredible mess this woman has created!

Yes, it's ongoing because this woman does not stop! Her ethics or lack there of just have not hit bottom. Just when you think she has there is something else she does to prove you wrong.

Jodi, you should try to have all your facts correct before posting, Taryn does not live close to Tanisha, I would venture to say she is a couple of hours away and has only met her once. I am no longer part of that group and have not seen Tanisha since April. My only involvement was to attend some of the play group get togethers and I had fun posting and sharing pictures with others that I knew from the get togethers. The male dog she has now is not the father of Mia, and has not produced any puppies so far. What you say is cruelty others seem to see as her trying to care for a puppy that others might put down. You know her address and if you feel so strongly why not call animal services and see if they agree with you. Do you really think someone would have the legal right to walk in and grab the puppy.

Please don't think I agree with her breeding practices or how she is going about getting help, I don't so that is why I have not donated or posted in support and it was the final straw in why I left the group. But I also know this woman and have met her and seen her dogs, how many of you on this thread can say the same. While I don't think she should be a breeder I will say her dogs are her pets, they live in her house, they are loved, well groomed, well socialized, and I have seen first hand how loving her and her daughter are with the dogs and how they are in return to the both of them.
Tanisha is small potatoes in this breeding game, in the 10 months I have known her she has had 4 puppies, does that make it right, no, but I don't think it's fair to make her sound like she is a huge puppy farm either.

I am not even sure why I am taking the time to share what little I know because I am sure Jodi will come back in full force ready to bully me into submission, but I just wanted a little of the other side to be told.

Depending on how long this woman has known about this pups condition, YES, it is very possible she could be charged with cruelty.

More likely to be Chiari as often the two can go together.

Lillymae, I don't understand much of the medial stuff and did not follow all of her FB posts on when she was trying to get it diagnosed, but she has been going to a vet for about a month or so trying to figure out what was wrong, one vet told her it was LP, then it was a broken leg, she was also told the dog was to young to be operated on. I have read enough posts in the sick and injured section to know many people do about the same thing when trying to figure out what is wrong, so how could that be considered cruelty.

I have not read all the links, so I don't know if you know this but Mia had a broken leg prior to this problem, at first the vet said the leg did not heal properly so that was causing the problem. Perhaps the leg broke more easily because of this problem, or the break caused the gait to be worse

I'm sorry you misunderstood. I specifically said depending on how long she has known, but did not specify as I don't know the time frame here. Only that IF a person knows for an X amt of time & has not done anything to rectify the problem then it would fall under the cruelty laws.
In this case as far as I'm concearned this pup NEEDS to be confined & NOT be put places like up on couches & chairs for videos & pics.

No I understood the part about how long she would have known, that's why I explained how quickly she started seeking treatment but was given a lot of wrong explanations. I agree I don't like the puppy being put on anything where it could easily fall.

Believe me I am aware of the time frame that too many vets have taken to diagnose things like AAI, Chiari & GME & am not at all happy about it. I am not saying she is negligent in the pups care but AM saying that she knows about it & has offered out TWO males for stud & IMO this is negligent. I would also like to know what she will do to ensure that NO other pups will be brought into this world due to her breeding practices with this condition. IMO the ONLY way she could ensure that is to alter ALL dogs related to the parents of this pup & STOP all breedings until she purchases Good breeders from a REPUTABLE breeder. I DO feel strongly about this as I had a yorkie for 11 yrs who had Chiari, and in my time as a member on YT I have seen the heartache & expense other members & their innocent pups here have endured due to careless breeding.

even though the males are the not the father of Mia, I agree she should just quit breeding all together and everything about offering the stud service for a donation sounds tacky. But on the other hand one thing I have to give her credit for is the fact that she did not keep this hush hush, think about if she was just in it for the breeding money she would have quietly put the puppy down and gone on breeding with no one being the wiser. Except she is so desperate to get the puppy fixed that she is willing to loose money on future sales or stud service. That is why I truly belive while she is not the wisest breeder she is not in it for the money. Just like not selling this little girl, yeah she had her for sale for $5,000.00, but she did that so her husband would think she was trying to sell her, meanwhile she turned down two offers for over $2,000.00. She kept Mia because of the bond she formed with her during the months she hand fed and cared for her around round the clock, she even kept her knowing full well she would not breed her, this is not something a for profit breeder does. Many of us in the club discussed this, we could not understand why she would take on another puppy, we sort of just decided she is a yorkie-aholic

If this were my pup it would have already had surgery as soon as the Dr could have done it after the pup was diagnosed & in the mean time would have stayed at the hospital until surgery.
AAI is basically a broken neck & you just don't walk around & wait with a broken neck.

Breeding tinies & overcharging for them is definitely someone who is mainly in it for the money.
Those prices are out of line for any dog that is not a Champoin.

Do NOT give credit where credit is NOT due....not on here anyway, this breeder absolutely, positively, is everything most of us are against, and more....I am surprised that you, the animal lover I know you to be, can validate anything about this breeder. One only needs to look at her history, her website, her totally awful past YT internet campaign of hate and her reputation as a whole, she is as unethical and as cruel as any atrocious common puppymill, and then some. I can not imagine you, of all people, flocking with this type of person, but thats your choice. You are entitled to befriend whoever, but I would seriously take an internal inventory of your beliefs. You are enabling her, IMHO.

There are many responsible breeders here on YT alone, why do you choose to advocate for the one breeder who has demonstratively proven again and again what a greeder she is? The rescue folks on here work everyday to save pups from breeders exactly like this and will probably admit she is the worst of the worst...tirelessly they give and give and give of themselves, because of people like her, and somehow you don't see that at all? The first thing that came to my mind is naieve follower, but why?

I have tried to stay away from this latest Tanisha Breton scam, she had no business breeding Yorkies, or any other dog for that matter. She breeds tiny, and sells for profit and only cares about the monies. She should either have this little puppy Mia surrendered to a yorkie rescue group or have her put down. It is obvious that she will not spend the monies needed to get her the care she needs. To ask for donations is about as tacky as anything I have ever seen. I agree the x-ray she has posted is a much larger dog, and certainly not Mia. Not only is she a irresponsible breeder, she has no shame. When you breed tiny you get sick puppies, and if people are so stupid that they pay big monies for tiny puppies they will continue to pay in vet bills for the rest of their dogs life. Sorry for the rant, but this kind of thing just makes me sick.

I wish I had never watched the video. I cant stop crying. This woman is a monster!!!! To brag about how tiny the pup would be and then ask for money! I seriously doubt that the money will actually go toward medical costs, anyone who breeds for tiny dogs is seriously twisted!!! These are loving, feeling, sweet dogs and to use them for profit at the expense of their health and well being is a crime, the fact that there is no punishment for creating an animal so weak is a sin. We need to stop rewarding these "breeders". I will never ever get the image of that poor little girl out of my head. This little one should be seized immediately given medical care and an investigation should be started!!!!

The sad reality is that no one is going to seize this puppy. Educating people is, sadly, a waste of time in terms of stopping this woman. Just look at how many people who come to YT and yell at us for daring to say that a yorkie puppy should be with his mom until at least 12 weeks of age. They simply don't care...they want what they want and will pay for them. The never ending search for "teacups' is nauseating and people DO know...they simply don't care and/or believe.
Again, instead of spinning wheels, I hope someone reports this woman to the IRS. I keep saying this but it does not seem to be hitting home. I don't have all of the information or I would do it. I also simply don't have the time.
Anyone who has dealt with the IRS will tell you...it's not a pleasant experience!
