| Texas puppy mill bill Go to www.capitol.state.tx.us and search legislation for HB1451. This is the proposed Texas puppy mill bill. It hasn't been voted on yet, just introduced, and there was a committee hearing on it this week. If you are a Texan, call or write your state representative (you can find contact information at the above website) and ask him/her to support HB1451. |

USDA regulations are less than laughable...often pup mill brokers rely on inner state commerce laws to be enforced on them (minimal penalties, small fines, and are usually dismissed) in avoidance of any animal rights violations, and heath code violations etc. There needs t be uniformity...I can't believe this is still taking so long to go into effect.
