All 4 sleep with one....no no I should say they allow me to sleep on my bed as long as I do not take up too much space on my cal-king bed...lol Seriously sometimes I am so dependent on Buffy that if I'm not touching her I can not sleep, so TG she's the same she has to be right up against me to sleep...the boys they have their night when they need to sleep right next to me, but all 4 are always on the bed since day one. I try to start them off on a doggie bed next to me but no they cry and cry and I end up giving in.

| Our two sleep with us and always have. They are both rehomes so they were both 90% potty trained when we got them. Jada was 2 1/2 and Bogie was 10 months. They were both big enough to not worry too much about rolling over on them. Jada has her own pillow and she will not sleep anywhere but on it. Bogie has to be wedged between Jada's and my pillow right next to my head. They sleep like logs and never move once they are asleep. DH would never allow any other furbutt we have had in the past sleep with us, but the night we got Jada, I was fixing her a bed in the floor and he insisted she sleep with us. He said she is too little to be alone to sleep.(she has him wrapped around her little paw, he calls her his pooh bearand would deny it if you ask him.) lol

| I read the same thing in my Yorkie book. And intended to follow the advice; BUT she was on my bed from the first night. She was so tiny and helpless and she wanted to snuggle. Now both she AND my Westie sleep on my bed. Cause even though Ringo has always slept with my son; he started getting jealous of Lucy sleeping with me. Sometimes I barely have room to move! |

| Andy has been in my bed from the day I brought him home . When he was 10 weeks old to somewhat bigger I had a basket for him that was beside my pillow .He was a good boy and slept in it all night never came out of it .If he had to pee he would give a cry and off we would go . The basket is no longer there he sleeps beside me on top of the blankets but of course he has his own there . I have Sleep apnea and of course with the mask and hose I don't move around alot . He has actualy woke me when the power went off and I wasn't getting air . He is my hero .

| Jackson sleeps in bed with me every single night (although sometimes he starts on the floor) and has since he was 16 weeks old. What most of the books are trying to convey is that alot of dogs, including Yorkies, will think the bed is theirs and guard it (barking, growling, biting) when husbands, or whoever try to get near it. I've seen quite a few Yorkies, and other small dogs, do this resource guarding. That's the only thing you have to be wary of, but most don't have this problem obviously! All the dogs in our family sleep on the bed-my aunts dog, my grandma's, my dad, etc. It's never been a question!

| Both of mine sleep with my husband and I. Even when I brought the new puppy home..Lily, we crated her for like two nights and then decided to put her in bed with us. Levi always sleeps in my legs...and Lily sleeps between my husband and I, up near the pillows. They both like to cuddle so I couldn't imagine not having them with us.

| No Rusty does not sleep with us YET! I tried one night when John was out of town but he ended up destroying a decorative bed pillow so he is not yet to be trusted!! Every time I would wake up to see where he was he would be laying right beside me...I guess he could sense when I was waking up and would jump up and act innocent

| Levi sleeps in my bed with me - on top of the comforter and down by my feet. He would never sleep in a dog bed - he completely ignores his own bed's existence, even during the day. It is just easier if he sleeps with me at night, because when he wakes up in the morning he just walks up the bed and starts licking my face. Plus, he's pretty cute sleeping by my feet

Mine used to sleep with me but not any more. On occasion they do now but for the last two or so months we crate them at night. I've also got a third dog and shes larger so all 3 of them sleep in a large crate cuddled together and they do just fine! 3 dogs in the bed was just getting to be too much, I like my space and tired of watching which way I turn lol

That's so funny to believe a king size bed is big enough lol. I have a queen size bed but when Brandi is really tired she likes to sleep up under me. If I rollover say close to the edge, guess who's right up under me. Which means I am really sleeping in a full size bed . Sometime i have to move her over just so i can have more room.

| As long as the dog know who's in charge you shouldn't have a problem. Both mine sleep in the bed and I wouldn't have it any other way.

| Pixie started out in a crate and by the time she was 6 months old she has been sleeping in our bed. Usually right between my Husband and me. We wouldn't have it any other way.

Donating YT 4000 Club Member | Rhett just started sleeping with us last week. The only change I noticed is that several times he has bolted up in the middle of the night and gone in to "protective mode" barking at something outside (we never did find out what). |
