I read the same thing in my Yorkie book. And intended to follow the advice; BUT she was on my bed from the first night. She was so tiny and helpless and she wanted to snuggle.
Now both she AND my Westie sleep on my bed. Cause even though Ringo has always slept with my son; he started getting jealous of Lucy sleeping with me.
