| Let your dog know who's the alpha dog Your dog can sleep with you only when you invite him on your bed. That's how you show him that you are the Alpha dog of the pack. Maria |

| Glad I am not alone here lol I was thrilled to read all of these. My lil Izzy loves to sleep with me too. No matter where we are. He has to be touching me too, I have definitely adjusted to not moving around too much in my sleep. Izzy does the same thing, first time I saw it I cracked up, he circles and scratches a number of times before he settles in for the night. I love watching him do this, it never gets old for me. I used to think he thought he was a cat lol....but I'm understanding it is a trait of Yorkies. I have to say I am so happy I found this site last year, cause no one understands my bond with this lil boy. I have so much love for him, he has become my whole world. I could leave him for an hour and am so excited to get back to him. I was so blessed last year, he was given to me by a family that couldnt care for him anymore. People say I saved his life, but he saved mine. I always wanted to be a Mom, turning 40 this month, so my chances are getting slim. But Izzy has helped me accept it a little easier, cause I am not alone now that I have him...I'm babbling but thanks for listening.. |

| Raley slept with us for the first 2 nights we had him. On the next night I began crate training. He sleeps in his kennel at night. His kennel has a fluffy bed and blanket in it. He knows when to "kennel up". Many nights he will open the door to his kennel and walk right in and go to sleep!

| Boo Boo has slept in the bed with me since the day I brought him home. I wouldn't have it any other way. I don't really believe that it makes them think they are the dominant one, they just like to be close to their people. I completely understand wanting to do things "by the book", but once I had my baby I threw the book out the window. I can't see my yorkie as a typical dog, he's like a furry little human. He doesn't act like an animal and training went easily once he started to trust me. Of course training is important, but he's managed to learn proper behavior and has had a very happy healthy life without me having to be too strict. Yorkies love their people and WANT to make them happy, and of course people love their yorkies and want them to be happy. Everything works itself out from there. |

| Yes she does! Rosie sleeps with me. She curls up next to my stomach and sleeps under the covers. I really like having her there and I think it makes her feel safe. I never used the crate but did try putting her in her own bed at first. But believe it or not, my husband is the one who felt sorry for her and ended up putting her in the bed with us. She has been there since then! |

| Winston does sleep in bed with hubby and I...first he has to roll and flop a little bit all the time making puppy noises, then he scratches and circles to find just the right spot and it is always and I mean always right up close and personal with me...he has to be touching or leaning on me to sleep. Aaaaaahhhhh I feel the love Winston!!!
