HELLLLLLLLLLLLLO?????????? Can you all start reading and stop talking. The pup does not have a MOTHER I have stated that SEVERAL times!!!!!!!!!!! It is not in a good home now and it will be when I get it. i will give it all the love and care that a dog can have!!

Everyone had already given you a TON of advice that you keep ignoring.. so sorry we arent HAPPY that you are getting a 6 week old pup that shouldnt leave his mom, that the breeder is breaking the law, that you are leaving this pup home alone for hours at at time and ooh and awwing over what you bought him. Great, you have a pen that he can stay in while he waits for you to get home...I agree with the others your are being very irresponsible...

It doesnt matter if the bitch died or not... it is AGAINST THE LAW for the breeder to sell a 6 week old puppy.

either way the home he is in now is not a good home and it needs to get out or it will die. Atleast with it being with me he will be in a better place

Im sorry but IM not believing the pups mom has died story... DO you know how many irresponsible breeders use that to sell thier pups early for the almighty dollar... apparently you havent picked up on that yet cause clearly this breeder is an excellent one, selling a pup at 6 weeks and putting it on plane...

and if the pups mom has truly died, that still doesnt give that breeder the right to sell that pup at 6 weeks old.. it should still be with the breeder untill its 12 weeks.. not putting it on a plane and selling it to someone who is worried that it will be bigger than 5 pounds!!!!

Last month I purchesed an AKC maltese little boy he was 5 weeks the breeder was keeping him until 12 weeks at the age of 8 weeks he choked to death and it was devastating for the breeder and me so at such a young age your taking a very big chance leaving him alone Im not trying to scare you but it happens.

Ok, Ok. We see that the puppy no longer has a mom.

REGARDLESS, someone needs to be at home 24/7 to take care of this puppy, and clearly, that will not be the case!

What is going to happen if this baby goes 9 hours without food and has a hypoglycemic attack? Will he just be left alone to fend for himself?

Since you don't seem to get it, let me explain it to you. This forum is full of yorkie lovers. Our main concern is their welfare...not with making selfish, self-absorbed children like you happy by spouting false cheer or giving poor advice. We care very much about all pups and it's breaking our hearts to see what is happening with this one....knowing that it's home is going to be with you....someone who obviously does not have it's best interests in mind. If you decide to leave YT and not come back that will be your loss - there are so many knowledgeable people here who will do whatever they can to help with the problems you're sure to face with this baby. Oh, and as for offering our prayers...our prayers are also for the pup, not for you. You'll never get it will you...why do we bother.

I understand your situation. But, at 6 weeks of age....oh dear. This pup or any pup under the age of 12 weeks or less than 2 pounds should be left alone. A pup this age should be being hand reared by the breeder.

No reputable breeder would place a pup let alone ship a pup under the age of 12 weeks.


I understand that you are excited about this puppy. But, also understand why YT Forum members can't share in your excitement. They all have one common bond, the health and welfare of their chosen breed. Some have been here years, have seen and yes experienced a situation such as yours and know the ramifications of doing exactly what you are doing. Nothing against you, but all for the love of the pup.

How? You yourself said this is your first dog. You have no experience with mature, healthy pups and you think you're doing this one a FAVOR?!?
