I understand your situation. But, at 6 weeks of age....oh dear. This pup or any pup under the age of 12 weeks or less than 2 pounds should be left alone. A pup this age should be being hand reared by the breeder.
No reputable breeder would place a pup let alone ship a pup under the age of 12 weeks.
I understand that you are excited about this puppy. But, also understand why YT Forum members can't share in your excitement. They all have one common bond, the health and welfare of their chosen breed. Some have been here years, have seen and yes experienced a situation such as yours and know the ramifications of doing exactly what you are doing. Nothing against you, but all for the love of the pup.
